Thank for you for purchasing Mileseey Laser distance meter. Please read the user manual carefully before operation. The DP20 series is an exquisite bilateral laser distance measurer whose exterior redefines the concept of design-the cleverly designed buttons render an appearance as simple as a ruler. Right Laser On/Off Button
Long press to turn on/off the right side laser. Short press to page down to historical data. -
Middle Laser Marking On/Off Button
Long press to turn on/off the laser marking. -
Left Laser On/Off Button
Long press to turn on/off the left side laser. Short press to page up historical data. -
Off/Clear Button
Long press to turn off the device. Short press to clear the previous operation or return. -
Units Switch/Mute Button
Short press to switch units (m/ft/in/'”) Long press to turn on/off beep tone. -
Mode Button
Short press to switch between measurement functions-single measurement, area measurement, volume measurement, auto level distance measuring, and auto height finding. -
Line segmentation & measuring
Short press to enter segmentation mode. In segmentation mode, short press to set segmenting value from 1/2 to 1/16. -
Extra-Large Display
Short press to switch to extra-large display Long press to turn on/off Bluetooth (Only available on DP20pro Version). -
On/Measure Button
In off state, long press to turn on Short press to measure In on state, long press to enter continuous measurement. -
Memory Button
Short press to save the data Long press to enter history data saved.

Range:
Range data are referenced to the rear of the measurer. The Maximum range shall be different according to different modes.Please refers to the package for actual range. -
Accuracy:
If measuring under favorable conditions, such as smooth surface, proper temperature and indoor lighting, the device is able to work within certain range as indicated. If measuring under unfavorable conditions, such as strong light, uneven surface and improper temperature, Possible measurement error might be produced.
Tips: In case of poor sunlight and bad reflection of the object, please use the target plate or reflector.
Operation Instructions
Measurement reference
When Initially turned on, the device default into the single measurement mode
in both directions; long press ( ) to turn off the left laser and long press (
)to turn off the right laser.
For bilateral lasers, with the marker laser as the reference.
Automatic switch to rear reference in case of one-way measurement .
Note: After rebooting, the reference setting in last booting remains saved.
Two-way Measurement
Press the (MODE) button to enter Two-way single measurement mode ( ). Press
the measure button( ) after aiming at targets to get distances. The left side
length, right side length, and total length are displayed on the screen.
One-way Measurement
In the mode of two-way single measure ( ), long press ( ) button to tum off
the left side distance measuring laser, or long press ( )button to turn off
the right side distance measuring laser, which switches two-way to one way
mode. Press measure button ( ) after aiming at target to get distance
.
Continuous Measurement
Long press ( ) button to enter continuous measurement. The device begins to
continuously measure. Press ( ) button to stop the continuous measurement;
then the screen displays the current maximum and minimum values.
Line segmentation &measuring
Long press (1 /N) button to enter line segmentation&measuring mode ( );
short press button (1 /N) or ( ) buttons to set the stake out value from 1/2
to 1/16. The measured values are moving to the left or right with the
indicated arrows. When moving to the target position, the N/N segment appears
at the bottom middle of the screen, this indicates an approach to the target
position. When ( ) flashes and ticks at the top centre of the screen, this
indicates that the target position has been reached. Press the ( ) button to
lock the current position.
Area Measurement
Press the ( MODE) button to select Area Measurement Mode ( ); then press
the ( ) to confirm. According to the flashing line prompt, press( ) button to
get the distance of the first line (Length), and press the( ) again to get the
distance of the second line (Width); then the area value is displayed on
the screen.
Note: Press ( )to cycle through the length, width, and the circumference
values.
Press the (MODE) button to select Volume Measurement Mode ( );then press the (
) to confirm. According to the flashing line prompt, press( ) button to get
the distance of the first line (Length), and press the( ) to get the
distance of the second line (Width),then press( ) the again to get the
distance of third line (Height); then the volume value is displayed on the
screen.
Note: Press( ) to cycle through the length, width, and height measurement
values.
Auto Level
Press ( MODE) button to select Auto Level Measurement Mode ( ) ; then press
( ) to confirm. According to the flashing line prompt, press ( )utton to
measure, and the hypotenuse length will be displayed on the screen, and then
the horizontal distance will be calculated, and the tilt angle will be also
displayed on the screen.
Note: Press( )to cycle through the tilt angle, the hypotenuse length, and
the horizontal distance.
Auto Height
Press (MO□E) button to select Auto Height Measurement Mode ( ) ; then press
( )to confirm. According to the flashing line prompt, press( ) button to get
the length of the first line, and press the( ) again to get the length of the
second line; then the vertical distance between the two points will be
displayed on the screen.
Notes:
- The auto height function can only be used in one-way laser measurement.
- Press( )to cycle through the angle between two lines, the length of first line, and the length of the second line.
Memory
Short press (MEMORY) button to save the current data. Long press (
MEMORY) to enter the memory; press( ) to tum on the previous and next
page, and press ( )button to go through the current history of measurement
sides or angles; then press ( CLEAR OFF ) button to exit the history. The
saved measurement result data will be displayed from the most recent time to
the furthest time.
Note: 20 sets of measurement results can be saved.
Extra-large Display Mode
Short press the ( ) button to switch into Extra-large Display Mode, and
press the ( ) button again to exit the extra-large display mode.
Note: The extra-large display mode can only be applied in a single
measurement.
Bluetooth Connection
(Only available on DP20pro Version)
Measuring Device:
Long press ( ); Bluetooth will be successfully connected when( ) appears.
Smart Phone End
Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone, and click on the Bluetooth connection in
the APP. After successful connection, the Bluetooth icon on your phone turns
blue and ( ) will be displayed at the top right-hand corner on screen. Then,
we can control the device remotely through the APP for measurement and data
transfer. The Bluetooth function needs to be used in conjunction with the
mobile phone APP, so users need to download the “Smart Life” APP in advance.

Error Code
All errors or failures will be shown as codes. The following table explains the meaning of codes and solutions.
