Eurowise R8 intake installation DIY

R8 intake

Jack up the car to remove the rear wheels. Remove both rear wheels. Next remove both inner fender liners.

Remove 3 T30 Torx in order to remove the factory air guides.

Protect the work area to avoid the chance of scratching the paint.
With diagonal cutters remove 2 squeeze clamps for breather hoses that are attached to the factory intake boots. Next remove both intake tubes.

Remove 2 clamps from the intake tubes and 4 T30 Torx that secure the air box to the frame of the car and remove the air box. Install large metal heat shield in place of the factory airbox. Reuse the same mounting holes as the factory airbox to attached the shield with supplied hardware in the kit

Remove Mass air flow sensors from factory airbox housing. (Tamper proof torx screw)
If tamper proof torx bit isn’t accessible. Use vice grips to remove. New hardware is included with new intakes. Mass air sensors can only go in one way.

Install both upper intake tubes with supplied silicone couplers and clamps. the Longer tube is installed on the passenger side.

using the supplied silicone rubber hoses. Install onto the end of the nipples that were pulled out of the factory airboots that were attached to the throttle bodies.
using the supplied clamps tighten the hoses on the nipple and Eurowise intake side.

Plug in Mass air flow sensors

Install air filter onto passenger side intake tube. Install tube into car Reusing the existing mounting hole and hardware from removing the air guide removed earlier.
attach the male side of the tube in the upper intake pipe in the engine bay.

Install air filter onto drivers side intake tube. Install tube into car Reusing the existing mounting hole and hardware from removing the air guide removed earlier.
attach the male side of the tube in the upper intake pipe in the engine bay.

Reinstall both wheel liners.
Install wheels.
Install engine cover trim panels on both sides.
