IMPORTANT INFORMATION
NOTE FOR ADULTS
Before giving the product to children, first remove all plastic, wires and any
other object designed to fasten it during transport. This product comes
factory-prepared for the “TRY ME” function. The batteries that it includes are
designed for this use. Therefore, it is possible that they may be spent. If
this is the case, we recommend they should be replaced. The product is shipped
from the factory for demonstration in shops with the selector in the TRY-ME
position. In this position, the product has limited functionality. Position
the selector (A) in the ON position for normal operation (see fig. 1).
BATTERY OPERATION
Doll – Replacement and insertion
Warning! Remember to empty the water from the tank inside the doll before
replacing the batteries, to prevent the water from spilling (see the “Purging
and emptying the tank” section of this manual). This product requires 2 (AAA)
1.5 V alkaline batteries. First of all open the Velcro fastener on the doll’s
back and turn the selector switch (A) to the OFF position (see fig. 1). Remove
the safety screws from the battery compartment lid (B) located on the back
(see fig. 2). Take out the exhausted batteries. The correct insertion of the
batteries is shown in the illustration (see fig. 2). Place them in the
indicated position with the required polarity. Screw the lid on again, to
ensure the safety of your children. Lastly, set the selector switch (A) to ON
and close the Velcro fastener.
Bracelet – Replacement and insertion
This product requires 1 x 3V CR2032 battery. Remove the safety screw from
the battery compartment lid (C) located on the back (see fig. 2). Take out the
exhausted battery. The correct insertion of the battery is shown in the
illustration (see fig. 2). Place it in the indicated position with the
required polarity. Screw the lid on again, to ensure the safety of your
children. Warning! The batteries must always be replaced or handled under the
supervision of an adult. Read the warnings and safety section.
BEFORE STARTING
Filling the tank:
Note: Perform this operation away from elements that can be damaged by water
(electronic devices, plugs, etc.). First of all, for filling the tank, open
the lid (D) located on the back of the head (see fig. 3.) Using a container or
a glass, pour water into the tank. After filling the water tank, close the lid
(D).
PURGING AND EMPTYING THE TANK
Important! Before performing this operation, choose an appropriate place where
no damage to materials or products will be caused by spilled water (for
example, in the bathroom washbasin or the kitchen sink).
PURGING:
When using the product for the first time and/or after filling, water might
not appear in the doll’s eyes when the pacifier is taken away. This may simply
be due to air that is stopping the water from coming out. To purge that air,
use the purge or emptying function. Turn the selector switch (A) to OFF and
remove the pacifier. Then, turn the selector switch (A) to the TRY-ME position
and bring the bracelet close to the doll while you press the button (F) on it.
When the purge function is activated, the lights in her cheeks will go on and
you will hear a double “beep” confirming it has been activated. Wait until
water appears in both eyes (see fig. 4). If you release the button (F) during
the purging process and/or move the bracelet away from the doll, the purging
will stop and it will be necessary to carry out the aforementioned process
again. Caution! Remember, the water will emerge with some pressure in the
form of a jet. As soon as the water appears, stop pressing and the water will
fall in the form of droplets again. To stop the water from dripping, put the
pacifier back in the doll’s mouth.
EMPTYING:
Remove the lid (D) and turn the doll upside down to empty all the water
inside. To empty all the water as recommended in the maintenance section,
perform the operation indicated above, but in this case, keep the button (F)
pressed until there is no water in the
eyes.
OPERATION
With the selector switch (A) set to ON, remove the pacifier (E) from the
doll’s mouth and she will start to cry (sounds and tears). To stop the tears
from falling, put the pacifier (E) back in the doll’s mouth (see fig. 5).
There must be water inside the doll for the crying function to work.
When the doll is laid down, she will automatically close her eyes. If you put
her upright again, she will open her eyes (see fig. 6).
INTERACTION WITH THE BRACELET:
First of all, the user has to put the bracelet (F) on and press the button to activate it (see fig. 7). When both the bracelet and the doll are activated, bring the bracelet close to the doll and her cheeks will light up following a sequence of sounds. If the bracelet is moved away from the doll, she will no longer detect it and her cheeks will be deactivated (see fig. 7.1). If her cheeks do not light up, remove the pacifier or put it back to reactivate the doll and the bracelet. Note: The doll will remain activated for the bracelet to work for about 3 minutes after the last interaction. Once that time has passed, the doll must be reactivated by replacing the pacifier (E) in her mouth or removing it. Remember to press the button (F) on the bracelet again.
NOTE FOR ADULTS!
Although the product contains only a small quantity of water, bear this in
mind when playing, to prevent damage to electrical or electronic appliances
and other products or materials that could be damaged by contact with water.
Do not place these objects near the play area. Remember to put the pacifier
(E) back in the doll’s mouth to stop the tears.
Energy-saving mode
The doll is fitted with 2 types of energy-saving systems to avoid unnecessary
power consumption: She will make sounds without stopping for about 30 seconds
if there is no interaction and change to the partial energy-saving mode for 3
minutes, during which time the doll will react by interacting with the
bracelet. After 3 minutes with no interaction, the doll will change to the
total energy-saving mode. To reactivate the doll, place the pacifier in her
mouth or remove it. To stop it correctly, place the pacifier in the doll’s
mouth and turn the selector switch (A) to OFF.
Tips to ensure correct use
Trouble-shooting:
If the light and sound level is lower than normal, this means the batteries
have run down and they must be replaced (bracelet and doll). If no water
droplets appear in the eyes, first check that the tank still has water and if
not, refill it. If the problem persists, perform the air emptying function
described in this manual (“Purging and emptying the tank” section). If there
is a blockage, do not try to insert sharp objects in the water circuit, as
this could cause damage. Empty the water tank completely, fill it again and
perform the purging process.
MAINTENANCE
Cleaning:
Only the surface of the doll and the bracelet are washable. To wash them, use
a cloth dipped in a mild dry cleaning product. Do not use detergents or
solvents. If the event of wetting the equipment, turn it off and remove the
batteries immediately. Dry the battery compartment with a dry cloth. Leave the
battery compartment open until it is completely dry. This operation can be
speeded up by using a hairdryer. Do not try to use the equipment until it is
completely dry. Note for Adults: For safety and design reasons, the pajamas
cannot be taken off the doll.
Conservation: To avoid damage to the product or accidental water
spillage, you are recommended to remove all the water from the product after
play. To do this, follow the emptying process indicated in the “PURGING OR
EMPTYING” section included in this manual. If the product is not going to be
used for a prolonged period after being emptied, to facilitate evaporation of
the water remaining inside it, we recommend not putting the dummy into the
doll’s mouth and removing the batteries.
