Important safeguards General
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be observed, including the following:
- READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS
- Make sure the voltage in your outlet is the same as the voltage indicated on the appliance’s rating label.
- Please keep these instructions, if possible, the carton with inner packaging!

- The baking surfaces get very hot.
- Put the unit down onto a heat-resistant surface or mat.
- In order to prevent heat from building up, do not put the unit directly underneath a cupboard. Ensure that there is enough space all around.
- Beware of steam coming out when you open the baking section.
- The bread can burn, so never use the sandwich toaster near or below curtains and other inflammable materials!
- A risk of fire and electrical shock exists in all electrical appliances and may cause personal injury or death. Please follow all safety instructions.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged has malfunctioned or has been damaged in any manner. To avoid the risk of an electric shock, never try to repair the Waffle Maker yourself. Take it to an authorized service station for examination and repair.
- The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is operating.

HOW TO USE

BEFORE FIRST USE
- Remove all packing material, any stickers, and the plastic band around the power plug.
- Remove and save literature.
- Before first use, clean appliance, and plates according to instructions in the CARE AND CLEANING section of this manual.
- For best results, prepare the non-stick surfaces by using a paper towel to wipe a thin layer of vegetable shortening or oil onto the non-stick surfaces of the Waffle Maker.
CAUTION : Always use protective, heat-resistant, gloves or mitts when handing this product to avoid steam or other burns.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
USING YOUR WAFFLE MAKER
Preparation
Note: Aerosol cooking spray should not be used on the plates.

Set the appliance on a stable, level, heatproof surface.

Close the lid and plug the cord into the outlet.

Always preheat before use.

The indicator light will illuminate when the plug is connected to the main outlet; it will stay on during preheating, ready light will turn on when the appliance has preheated.
CAUTION : Always preheat before use. -
Close the Waffle Maker and plug it into the wall outlet, you will notice that the power light will come on, indicating that the Waffle Maker has begun preheating.

It will take approximately 2~4 minutes to reach baking temperature, the ready light will be on.

Open the upper lid, and put the prepared batter on the cooking plate.

Close the lid. The ready light will go off again.

Cook for about 3 to 5 minutes, the ready light up again, or until golden brown, adjusting the time to suit your taste.

When the food is cooked to open the lid. Remove the waffle with the help of a plastic spatula. Never use metal tongs or a knife as these can cause damage to the non-stick coating of the cook plates.

Once you are finished cooking, disconnect the plug from the wall outlet and leave the unit open to cool.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
- Always unplug the Waffle Maker and allow it to cool before cleaning. The unit is easier to clean when slightly warm. There is no need to disassemble Waffle Maker for cleaning. Never immerse the Waffle Maker in water or place in dishwasher.
- Wipe cooking plates with a soft cloth to remove food residue. For baked on food residue squeeze some warm water mixed with detergent over the food residue then clean with a non abrasive plastic scouring pad or place wet kitchen paper over the plate to moisten the food residue.
- Do not use anything abrasive that can scratch or damage the non-stick coating.
- Do not use metal utensils to remove your waffle, they can damage the non-stick surface.
- Wipe the outside of the Waffle Maker with a damp cloth only. Do not clean the outside with any abrasive scouring pad or steel wool, as this will damage the finish. Do not immerse in water or any other liquid.
- Do not place in the dishwasher.
Storage
- Always unplug the Waffle Maker before storage.
- Always make sure the Waffle Maker is cool and dry before storage.
