During the cooking process, an acoustic signal sounds to inform you that the set cooking level (rare – medium – done) has been reached. This is also indicated by white LED lights on the right-hand side of the display.
-
The desired degree of cooking (rare – medium – done) is reached as soon as the LED display glows constantly white. Open the grill and remove the food when it is cooked to the required level.

Note : For optimal grilling results, the items of food should have a similar thickness.
Keeping food warm
When the cooking process has finished, the appliance automatically switches to
warming mode. The LED cooking level indicator (F) stops flashing at the ‘done’

Cleaning and care
-
Pull out the mains plug and let the appliance cool down for at least 2 hours.
-
Once it has cooled down, use a piece of kitchen towel to remove any fat or other residues
from the grill plates (1). -
Remove the grill plates and fat drip tray as described in section 4. The dishwasher-safe
grill plates are non-stick coated. This makes them easier to clean and largely prevents
food residues from sticking. To extend the service life of the grill plates, and to ensure
that the coating is handled carefully, we recommend cleaning with water and a dishwashing
brush with the addition of detergent. -
Do not immerse the appliance in water; just wipe it down with a damp cloth and a little detergent.
-
Never use abrasive cleaners or hard cleaning pads. Even stubborn food residues can be removed by soaking for a short time and then cleaning with a soft sponge or a synthetic washing-up brush in warm soapy water.
-
Never scratch, stir or cut the coating with sharp, hard objects.
-
Only use utensils made of wood or heat-resistant synthetic materials.
-
Do not use any oven sprays, non-stick sprays or similar products.
-
The electrical contacts on the grill plates (1) and the base of the appliance (6) must be completely dry before the appliance is reassembled.
-
Once the appliance is fully dry, reassemble it ready to be stored away in a dry environment.
