Install Guide
Volkswagen Atlas Rock slider installation guide.
- Remove both lower plastic covers on each side. These will not be reused. If you want to keep them in place you could trim them around the sliders mount brackets if wanted.
When installing the rock sliders the bolt sandwiches between the rock slider on the frame for a secure mounting finish.
Heres the steps for the mounting hardware in order.
Make sure to leave plastic washer on! ( NOT SHOWN HERE )
The next photos below show how the Special L bolts we included are installed
in the frame rails. (Photos may not reflect your car.
The L bolts are installed on both
sides of the car in the same spots.
Now you can install the sliders once all the L bolts
are in place. With a second set of hands, you can guide the slider onto the
car aligning all the studs thru the slider mount holes.
Below is how the slider is mounted.
Now use the supplied nuts to install the slider to the vehicle.
