Before First Use:

1. Remove all packaging from the product.
2. Clean all parts that come into contact with food with hot water and dish soap.
3. Perform at least one heating cycle while the product is empty before first use.

Using the Product:

1. Place the product on a stable, flat, and heat-resistant surface.
2. Keep the air outlet at least 13 cm away from the wall.
3. Plug in the power cable into a power outlet.
4. Pull out one of the baskets and place the perforated baking tray in it
5. Avoid filling the basket with oil or liquids.
6. Press the power button to turn on the product.
7. Select a basket using the selection button.
8. Choose a preset or manual mode using the mode button.
9. Adjust time and temperature settings if needed.
10. Add time for preheating the unit.
11. Place food into the baskets.
12. Press start/pause button to begin cooking.
13. Be cautious of hot surfaces and steam when handling the product.

Intended use

• The Nedis KAAF310BK is a hot air fryer with a 2 x 3.5 L capacity. This product is intended for indoor use only.
• Do not let persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge of how to operate, use the product.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the product.
• This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.
• The product is intended for use in household environments for typical housekeeping functions that may also be used by non-expert users for typical housekeeping functions, such as: shops, offices other similar working environments, farm houses, by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments and/or in bed and breakfast type environments.

• Do not expose the product to water or moisture.
• Do not let water enter the product.
• Disconnect the product from the power source before service and when replacing parts.
• If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similar qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• Do not use an extension cable.
• The surfaces of the product get hot during use.
• Keep the product and power cable out of reach of children under 8 years of age.
• The door or the outer surface may get hot when the product is operating.

Before first use

1. Remove all packaging from the outside and inside of the product.
2. Clean all parts that come into contact with food with hot water and dish soap. The perforated baking trays A4 are dishwasher safe.
3. Clean the outside of the product with a soft clean, damp cloth.
4. Before first use, perform at least one heating cycle while the product is empty.

When the product heats up for the first time, it may emit slight smoke or odour. This is normal and does not affect the safety of the product.

Using the product

1. Place the product on a stable, flat and heat resistant surface.

2. Keep the air outlet A5 at least 13 cm away from the wall.

3. Plug the power cable A6 into a power outlet.

4. Pull out one of the baskets A2 using the handle A3.

5. Place the perforated baking tray A4 in the basket A2.
   Do not fill the inside of the basket with oil or other liquids. The product works with hot air.

6. Place the basket A2 back into the product, using the handle A3.

7. Press the power button B9.

8. Press the selection button B24 to select a basket he product starts in the manual mode with the default settings of 180˚C and 15 minutes.

9. Set the time and temperature with buttons B56 and Bqw, or select one of the presets B1 with the mode button B8. 4 See image C for information on the presets.

   • The selected preset icon blinks.
   • The time and temperature can be changed after a preset has been selected.
   • Add time as needed to preheat the unit.

10. Pull out one of the baskets A2 using the handle A3.

11. Place food into the baskets A2.

12. Place the basket A2 back into the product, using the handle A3.

13. Press the start/pause button B7 to start or pause the timer.

15. The product stops working when the door is opened.

16. When the timer ends, the product emits a beeping sound.

17. Pull out the basket A2 using the handle A3.

18. Be careful, hot steam may escape.

19. Insert the basket A2 back into the product and reset the timer  and temperature if the food is not ready yet.

20.  Place the basket A2 on a heat-resistant surface.
    Do not touch the perforated baking tray A4 with bare hands.

21. Remove the prepared food using a kitchen tong.
    Do not use a metal tool to remove the food to avoid damaging the coating.

22.  Press the power button B9 to switch off the product.

Disposal

The product is designated for separate collection at an appropriate collection point. Do not dispose of the product with household waste. For more information, contact the retailer or the local authority responsible for the waste management.
