Product Usage Instructions

  • Tools Needed:
    • Drill
    • Phillips Screwdriver
  • Assembly Steps:
    • Step 1: Prepare the Ceiling Plate
    • Remove the plastic plug from the Ceiling Plate (D).
    • Step 2: Install Ceiling Plate
    • Insert toggles at the end of the Y-Cable with Lock (F) into the slots on the top of the Ceiling Plate (D). Place the Ceiling Plate into the suspended-ceiling grid and secure the cable as instructed.
    • Step 3: Attach Clips
    • Push Clips (E) down over the T-bar to hold the Ceiling Plate (D) down securely.
    • Step 4: Connect the Bracket to the Mount
    • Connect Bracket (B) to Mount (A) using the provided washers, screws, and Allen wrench.
    • Step 5: Insert Cables
    • Choose between Option A or Option B based on cable placement preference.
    • Step 6: Secure Mount Assembly
    • Secure Mount Assembly to Ceiling Plate (D) using the provided bolts, washers, and Allen wrench.
    • Step 7: Attach Mount Arms to the Projector
    • Align arms on Mount Arms (C) with mounting holes in the projector and secure using the appropriate screws and washers.

TOOLS NEEDED

  • DO NOT EXCEED WEIGHT CAPACITY.
    • Failure to do so may result in serious injury.

ASSEMBLY STEPS

  • STEP 1
    • Remove the plastic plug from the Ceiling Plate (D).VIVO-MOUNT-VP07DP-Universal-Adjustable-2-x-2-feet-Drop-Ceiling-Projector-FIG-1 \(5\)
  • STEP 2
    • Insert 2 toggles at the end of the Y-Cable with Lock (F) into 2 of the 16 slots on the top of the Ceiling Plate (D), making sure the slots chosen will provide optimal support for the mount with the projector.
    • Place the Ceiling Plate into the suspended-ceiling grid.
    • Thread the end of the cable through the side hole in the lock in the direction of the arrow, wrap the cable around the beam or other support, then insert the cable down through the centre hole in the lock and pull it down to secure.
    • NOTE: To disengage the lock, use a small screwdriver to press in the centralized spring-loaded barrel on the side the arrow is pointing towards. Pull the cable out while holding down the spring.
  • STEP 3
    • Push Clips (E) down over the T-bar to hold the Ceiling Plate (D) down.
  • STEP 4
    • Connect Bracket (B) to Mount (A) using Plastic Oval Washers (S-F), Plastic M5 Washer (S-E), Small M5 Washer (S-D), M5x12mm Screw (S-C), and 4mm Allen Wrench (T-A).
  • STEP 5
    • OPTION A: Insert cables through the centre of Mount (A) if cables will be hidden above the ceiling.
    • OPTION B: Insert cables through the side of Mount (A) if cables will be exposed below the ceiling.
  • STEP 6
    • Secure Mount Assembly to Ceiling Plate (D) using M6x18mm Bolts (S-A) with M6 Washers (S-B), and tighten with 5mm Allen Wrench (T-B).VIVO-MOUNT-VP07DP-Universal-Adjustable-2-x-2-feet-Drop-Ceiling-Projector-FIG-1 \(12\)
  • STEP 7
    • Align arms on Mount Arms (C) with mounting holes in a projector, and secure to the projector using Screws (M-A through M-D) and Washers (M-E through M-H) most appropriate for your projector.

  • STEP 8
    • Angle Mount Arms (C) with Projector and hook onto Assembled Mount to partially secure.VIVO-MOUNT-VP07DP-Universal-Adjustable-2-x-2-feet-Drop-Ceiling-Projector-FIG-1 \(17\)
  • STEP 9
    • Secure Mount Arms (C) to Assembled Mount using M5 Plastic Washer (S-E), M5 Washer (S-D), M5x12mm Screw (S-C) and 4mm Allen Wrench (T-A).VIVO-MOUNT-VP07DP-Universal-Adjustable-2-x-2-feet-Drop-Ceiling-Projector-FIG-1 \(18\)
  • STEP 10
    • Adjust the angle and rotation of the projector if desired by loosening screws on Assembled Mount using a 4mm Allen Wrench (T-A).
    • Adjustment #1: Use for pitched ceiling applications ONLY.
