IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
- Before you begin Read all instructions before setting up. Select a level site clear of rocks, branches, and other hard or sharp objects to install your tent.
WARNING: Keep clear of overhead power lines.
- Do not set up your tent under trees because of potential lightning strikes or falling tree limbs in inclement weather.
- Secure with all stakes and guy lines provided to prevent property damage or personal injury.
- For best results in windy conditions, position the narrow end of the tent into the wind. Do not drop the tent or pole bag on its end.
- Do not bounce the tent bag on its end to get the tent out, as these actions may damage the frame.
- Although it is possible to pitch this tent alone, it is faster/easier to with two people.
- Under no circumstances should this product be used to cover automobiles, marine products, or similar items.
- Never let tent poles snap together as this can damage the pole end.
CAUTION: Avoid pinch points when opening and closing the tent frame.
Supplied Parts and Hardware
Step 1
- Unroll and unfold the tent.
- Connect your tent poles.
Step 2
- Slide the tent poles into the sleeves of the tent.
Step 3
- Insert the corner pins into the tent poles.
Step 4
- Clip the G-hook on the tent poles.
Step 5
- Hammer the four ground stakes into the ground through the rings on the four corners of the tent.
Step 6
- Unroll and unfold the rainfly.
- Insert the end of the fly rod into the web pocket.
Step 7
- Drape the rainfly over the tent making sure the fly rod is centered over the door. Tie the top of the rainfly with the intersection of the two tent poles.
- NOTE: When positioned properly, the seams on the rainfly will always align with the poles on the tent.
- Clip the four hooks on the rain and fly to the rings of the four tent corners.
- Clip the G-hook on the tent poles.
Step 8
- Tie the guy line through the loop on the rainfly.
- Pull the loop out and stick the ground stake through the loop as shown.
- Stretch the guy lines until taut, then hammer the ground stake into the ground at an angle of 45-60 degrees.
Step 9 How to Use Tent Guy Line Tensioners
- Hold the front end of the string and pull the guy line tensioners forward until the tent guy line is taut.
