Qty 1 Shift Knob
Qty 2 Allen Hex Tools
Qty 1 Time Use Loctite
To remove the knob, rotate the base counter clockwise.
It will look like this when unlocked.
Now firmly holding onto the shift knob pull up.
Now you can completely remove the knob.
Slide the metal sleeve over the shifter with the larger hole facing up.
Apply a small amount of Loctite on the threads.
The sleeve must be low as possible with access to the set screw. If it’s not
low enough the knob will not have engagement on the shifter.
Now slip the shifter on next and also apply a little Loctite on the set screw
at the top by the knob.
