SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Read all warnings posted on the equipment.
  2. Read this Owner’s Manual and follow it carefully before using the equipment.
  3. We recommend that two people be available for assembly of this product.
  4. Keep children and pets away from the equipment. Do not allow children and pets to use or play on the equipment.
  5. Make sure it is correctly assembled before start using it.
  6. Place the equipment in a dry area away from humid, saline or corrosive environments.
  7. Set up and operate the equipment on a solid-level surface. Do not position the equipment on loose rugs or uneven surfaces.
  8. Inspect the equipment for worn or loose components before each use.
  9. Replace any loose or worn components before using the equipment and/or or keep the equipment out of service until it has been completely repaired.
  10. Do not wear loose or dangling clothing while using the equipment.
  11. Never exercise in bare feet or socks; always wear correct footwear, such as running, walking or cross-training shoes.
  12. Be careful to maintain your balance while using, mounting, dismounting, or assembling the equipment loss of balance may result in a fall and serious bodily injury.
  13. Keep both feet firmly and securely on the foot pedals or on the band (in case of treadmills) while exercising.
  14. The equipment should not be used by persons weighing over 130 kg.
  15. The equipment should be used by only one person at a time.
  16. The equipment is for light commercial use.
  17. Make sure that adequate space is available for access to and passage around the equipment; keep at least a distance of 1 meter from any obstructing object while using the machine.
  18. Do the maintenance of the equipment indicated in this manual.

DISPLAY FUNCTIONS

POWER ON

  1. Connect power supply to the monitor or press the RESET button for 2 seconds, the LCD will display all segment with a long- beep sound for 2 seconds and display 78.0 in below (FIGURE 1 & 2).
  2. User may scroll the j o g dial to select User 1~4 and press ENTER for confirmation (FIGURE 3~4). And then preset user information for SEX, AGE, HEIGHT and WEIGHT. (FIGURE 4~7). SALTER-RS-24-Upright-Bike-fig- \(15\)

PROGRAMMING MODE

  1. Program selections are MANUAL PROGRAM USER PROGRAM H.R.C. WATT (FIGURE 8~12).

QUICK START IN MANUAL

  1. Press ENTER to enter MANUAL program, and the screen is blinking (FIGURE 13).
  2. Press START/STOP to start exercising. The resistance level is adjustable during exercising (FIGURE 14).

MANUAL MODE

  1. After selecting MANUAL mode (FIGURE 13), user can use UP/DOWN joggle wheel to increase or decrease the level (from 1 to 16) and press ENTER to confirm.
  2. User may preset exercise data (TIME, DISTANCE, CALORIES, PULSE), and press START/STOP to start the exercise. User can press RESET to return to the MANUAL setting

PROGRAM MODE

  1. After entering PROGRAM mode, user can scroll the jog dial to select the program profile from P1 to P12, then press ENTER to confirm.
  2. User can preset the TIME data then press START/STOP to start the exercise.

USER PROGRAM

  1. After entering USER PROGRAM mode, the first column of the profile is blinking (FIGURE 25). Users may scroll the jog dial to adjust the resistance level (FIGURE 26) to create his/her own profile.
  2. After setting (from column 1 to column 20), the user may hold on pressing the MODE button for 2 seconds to quit profile setting and enter the TIME setting.
  3. While making the profile setting, user can press RESET and return to the menu.
  4. After start training (FIGURE 27~29), TIME will be counted down. When TIME is counted to 0, the screen is flashing and the alarm is ringing. Users can press any button to stop the alarm.SALTER-RS-24-Upright-Bike-fig- \(21\)SALTER-RS-24-Upright-Bike-fig- \(22\)

HEART RATE CONTROL

  1. After entering HEART RATE CONTROL mode, the screen will show heart rate percentages 55%, 75%, 90% and TARGET. Users may select heart rate percentages by scrolling the jog dial for training.
  2. User can preset the TIME data then press START/ STOP to start the exercise.
  3. After start training, TIME will be counted down. When the TIME is counted to 0, the screen is flashing and the alarm is ringing. Users can press any button to stop the alarm. If there is no HR input for 5 seconds, LCD will display? until HR signal input.SALTER-RS-24-Upright-Bike-fig- \(23\)

WATT CONSTANT

  1. In standby mode, select WATT and press ENTER to enter.
  2. The preset watt value 120 is flashing on the screen, scroll the jog dial to set the target value from 10 to 350. Press the START button to start training.
  3. Users can preset the TIME data and then press START/STOP to start the exercise.
  4. After starting training, TIME will be counted down. When the TIME is counted to 0, the screen is flashing and the alarm is ringing. Users can press any button to stop the alarm.
  5. The watt value is adjustable during training. Users can turn the joggle wheel to adjust the Watt according to the instructions:
  6. Watt value > Setting value 25% — User should show down
  7. Watt value in the Setting value 25% —User should keep the same speed

RECOVERY
After exercising for some time, keep holding on handgrips and press the “RECOVERY” button. All function displays will stop except “TIME” which starts counting down from 00:60 to 00:00. The Screen will display your heart rate recovery status with the F1, F2….to F6. F1 is the best, F6 is the worst. User may keep exercising to improve their heart rate recovery status. NOTE:

  1. When user stop pedalling for 4 minutes, the computer will enter into power save mode, all settings and exercise data will be stored until the user starts exercising again.
  2. This computer requires 9V, 1A adaptor.
  3. When the computer act abnormally, please plug out the adaptor and plug in again.

STREAM THE WORKOUT NOTICE
This console is equipped with a bluetooth interface. Please take note that your mobile device needs to be compatible with the bluetooth interface (bluetooth 4.0).
To use training apps you will have to activate the bluetooth function on your mobile device (tablet or smartphone) and start the fitness app. Select your fitness equipment. Please follow the instructions given in the app. You will find the name of your fitness equipment on a small sticker on the back of the console.SALTER-RS-24-Upright-Bike-fig- \(26\)

MAINTENANCE

  • Dry and clean those areas exposed to perspiration. It is recommended to use towels to avoid sweat falling to the equipment.
  • Dust and dirt may be the cause of functioning problems in the gears and the internal bearings. It is recommended to keep the equipment casing and its different elements clean.
