Installation Instructions
With the bumper cover removed from the vehicle, mark and drill the outer
corners of the lower bumper cover as shown.
Ø3/16″ is all that is needed but Ø1/4″ drill bit will also work. Do not exceed
Ø1/4″ holes.
Using the included bezels as templates, the bezels can be temporarily placed on the bumper cover to mark the areas that need to be cut. Once you’ve identified and marked the areas that need cut, you can remove the bezel and carefully cut the openings. Remember, it is easy to remove more material as necessary but it is rather impossible to add material back if you cut too far; so start small with your cutting and increase your opening size as needed. The entire opening does not need to be cut, only cut what is necessary for your particular installation.
IMPORTANT : DO NOT CUT OUTSIDE OF THE AREA OUTLINED IN RED BELOW. IF YOU DO, THERE WILL NOT BE ANY MATERIAL LEFT FOR THE BEZELS TO ATTACH TO.
Once you have the openings cut, you can install the bezels with the included
hardware. The bezels only need to be snug, do not overtighten the bezels.
Front and back of installed bezels shown below for reference. As you can see,
the entire area does not need to be cut. In the example below, more material
was removed than necessary. It is best to remove as little material as
possible in order to complete installation.
With the bezels installed, you may now continue with your fog light installation or reinstall your bumper cover.
