Note: If your phone or phone case is not MagSafe-compatible, please stick the included 3M adhesive metal ring onto the back. For details about installing the 3M adhesive metal ring, please read the Metal Ring Positioning Operation Instructions in the package.

Critical Information for the Adhesive Metal Ring

1. Only adhere to a flat plastic, metal, glass, or hard material surface.
2. Do not adhere to the soft and uneven leather, vinyl, rubber, or any other soft material surface.
3. Clean & dry the surface, press it down firmly for 30s and let it sit 24 hrs before use.
4. One-time use only. Once removed, it cannot be re-mounted.

REMOVABLE RECHARGEABLE WIRELESS REMOTE CONTROL
Pairing with Your Smartphone

1. Launch the Settings page of your phone and turn on Bluetooth.

2. Press and hold the Shutter Release Button for about 3 seconds to turn on the remote control; the indicator on the remote will flicker.

3. The phone will search for devices automatically. Select MSG-P1 or MSG Remote (name of the remote) to access.

4. After pairing, you can use this remote control to take photos or record videos (your phone needs to reset to the corresponding photo-taking mode or video-recording mode).

5. Turn off the wireless remote: Press and hold the Shutter Release Button for about 3 seconds to tum it off. The indicator on the remote will flicker for about 2 seconds and then extinguish

Note

1. Once paired, if you only switch off the remote control but do not turn off the mobile phone Bluetooth, when you start using it again, the remote control will automatically connect back to the mobile phone on power up without repairing.
2. Once paired, if you switch off both the remote control and the mobile phone Bluetooth, when you start using it again, you need to press and hold the Shutter Release/ Video Recording Button for about 3  seconds to reconnect your phone and the remote control.
3. If you want to pair the remote control with another phone, you must turn off Bluetooth or clear the pairing information of the previously paired phone. Otherwise, you can not pair the remote control with another phone.

CHARGING THE REMOTE CONTROL

The detachable wireless remote control has a built-in battery. You can charge it using the included Type-C cable. The indicator on the remote shows the charging status, and it is red when charging and turns blue when charging is complete.

Q &A

1. Question: When | press and hold the Shutter Release/ Video Recording Button on the remote control, the indicator doesn’t react.
   Answer: Please charge the remote control.

2. Question: After successfully pairing my phone with the remote control, when | press the Shutter Release/ Video Recording Button, it doesn’t take photos or record a video but displays the volume+/- progress bar.
   Answer: The key is to enable shutter release/ video recording with volume up/ down activity.

3. Question: The smartphone keyboard isn’t available after pairing it with the wireless remote control.
   Answer: Enable using the screen keyboard in Settings.
