Before using the radio, please read and follow these safety instructions:

Operation – Power Supply
The radio can be powered from a mains socket or batteries:

  1. If using batteries, insert four C type batteries (R-14) into the compartment on the back of the device, ensuring correct polarity.
  2. To conserve power, the display will turn off after 15 seconds of inactivity. Press any button to reactivate the display.

Setting the Clock

  1. When turning on the device for the first time, the display will show 0:00.
  2. Press the HR button to set the hour and the MIN button to set the minutes. Hold the buttons for quick adjustments.
  3. After setting the correct time, press the time set button or wait for 5 seconds to confirm the time setting.

Setting Alarms and Timers
To set alarms and timers, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure the radio is turned off before setting alarms or timers.
  2. Follow the specific instructions provided for setting alarms and timers on the device.

Saving Radio Presets

  1. Tune in to your desired radio frequency.
  2. Hold the Time Set button to save the channel number.
  3. Each frequency can be saved in a different preset.

OPERATION

Power supply
The radio can be powered from a mains socket or from the batteries.

  • Mains: plug the power cable to the AC IN socket on the back of the device.
  • Batteries: open the battery compartment placed on the back of the device. Insert four C type batteries (R-14), and make sure that the polarity is correct. Close the battery compartment.
  • When the radio is powered from batteries, the display will shut off after 15 seconds of being idle. Press any button to turn it on.

If the batteries are inserted while the device is powered from the mains, the batteries will keep the clock settings after power cutout.

Setting the clock

  1. The first time the device is turned on, the display will show a flashing 0:00, indicating that the clock is not set.
  2. Press the HR button to set the hour. Press the MIN button to set the minutes. Press and hold the HR or MIN button to quickly change the time.
  3. After setting the correct time, press the time set button or wait 5 seconds. After 5 seconds, the time will be set.

To change set time:

  1. Make sure that the radio is switched off.
  2. Press and hold the set time button, until the time on display flashes.
  3. Repeat steps 2-3 from previous paragraph. Setting the alarm

Attention: if you want the alarm sound to be the radio, set the radio and the volume before setting the alarm.

  1. Make sure that the radio is switched off.
  2. Press and hold the Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 button, until the time on display flashes.
  3. Use the HR and MIN buttons to set the alarm time.
  4. Press the Alarm 1 or 2 button to confirm the alarm time (or wait 5 seconds).
  5. Press the Alarm 1 or 2 button again to choose the alarm sound: radio or buzzer.

After the alarm is activated on set time:

  • Press the Radio button to turn off the alarm.
  • Press the snooze button to activate 9-minute snooze.
  • To turn off the snooze, press the Radio button.
  • If the alarm is not deactivated by the button, it will turn off automatically after one hour.
  • Alarm will switch on after 24 hours. To turn off the alarm, keep pressing the Alarm 1 or 2 button, until the alarm indicator turns off.

Setting the timer

The device has the automatic timer function. To set it up:

  1. While listening to the radio, press the timer button. A flashing number 90 will appear on the display, indicating the time to automatic switch off.
  2. Keep pressing the timer button until you reach the desired time.
  3. After 2 seconds from the selected off time, the display will show the current time again and the radio will turn off after the set time.
  4. Press the timer button to display time to turn off.
  5. To turn off the timer function, press the timer button until OFF appears on the display, or turn off the radio.

Radio

  • Extend the antenna to ensure the best signal reception.
  • Press the Radio button to turn on the radio. The display will show the current frequency and the current time after 5 seconds.
  • Press the band button to change the radio band.
  • Press and hold the Radio button to turn off the radio.
  • To change the volume level, use the volume buttons.
  • To set the frequency, use the tuning buttons.
  • To enable automatic channel scanning, press and hold one of the tuning buttons.

Saving radio stations

  1. Set the frequency.
  2. Press and hold the time set button. The channel number will appear on the display. Press the time set button again to save the frequency on the preset.
  3. Each frequency will be saved one after another on presets 1 to 10. If the channel already has a frequency saved, the saved station will be overwritten.
  4. To go to the saved channel (while listening to the radio), press the program button (MEM). Saved station will be selected, and the channel number will appear on the display.

Earphone jack

Connect the earphones to the earphone jack on the right side of the device. After plugging in earphones, the internal speaker will be turned off.
