USER MANUAL
Congratulations on your purchase of the Airpura R400 air purifier. Please read this user manual carefully before operating to familiarize yourself with the unit and the proper usage of it. Keep this user manual ina safe place for future reference.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
- Inspect the exterior of your Airpura to verify that there is no damage from shipping.
- If any damage is noted, please follow the instructions from the distributor returns policy.
- Wipe the unit with a damp cloth to remove any dust from packaging.
- Please ensure air purifier is turned OFF when plugging into a power source.
- Failure to do so may result in motor potentially stalling and/or burning.
- Plug the unit into a regular grounded 110-volt outlet.
- Cleaning and user maintenance should not be made by children without adult supervision.
- Appliances that are obviously damaged must not be operated.
- Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings.
- Do not route cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
- Do not operate product with a damaged cord or plug. Discard product or return to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
You have taken the first step in creating a healthy environment. It should be
noted that this purifier is not intended to be the main protection against
pollutants. The source of your pollution should always be eliminated or
reduced. The purifier will sustain clean air in your space. This air purifier
is not intended for industrial use.
GETTING STARTED
- Plug the unit into a regular grounded 110-volt outlet.
- Turn on the air purifier.
When you receive your unit, turn on the unit to the MAX level and allow it to run for at least 30 minutes to burn off any residuals from transport and allow filters to settle in.

FILTER REPLACEMENT IN 400 UNIT
- UNPLUG THE UNIT
- LAY THE UNIT UPSIDE DOWN ON A FLAT AND CLEAN SURFACE
- USING A SCREWDRIVER REMOVE THE 4 SCREWS
- REMOVE THE BOTTOM COVER AND THE FOAM GASKET
- REMOVE THE HEPA FILTER
- REMOVE THE CARBON FILTER BYFIRMLY PULLING IT OUT. THE PREFILTER CAN BE ADHERED TO CARBON FILTER SO YOU HAVE TO PIVOT WITH BOTH HANDS IN ORDER TO RELEASE IT.
- REMOVE THE PREFILTER AND THE FILTER OVERCLOTH GENTLY AND PUT THEM IN A PLASTIC BAG. THEY MIGHT BE VERY DIRTY
- CLEAN THE INSIDE OF THE UNIT BEFORE INSTALLING THE NEW FILTERS. DISCARD THE USED FILTERS IN ACCORDANCE WITH LOCAL REGULATIONS
INSTALLING FILTERS IN A 400 UNIT
- INSTALL THE FILTER OVERCLOTH AND THE PREFILTER IN THE UNIT. MAKE SURE THE FILTER OVERCLOTH IS ON THE OUTSIDE TOWARDS THE CYLINDER WALL. MAKE SURE THE PREFITER IS PROPERLY SITUATED AND THE EDGES DOES NOT OVERLAP.
- INSTALL THE FOAM GASKET GENTLY TO THE BOTTOM OF THE FILTER COMPARTMENT. MAKE SURE THE GASKET SITS FLAT TO THE BOTTOM.
- IN ORDER TO INSTALL THE CARBON FILTER, YOU NEED TO USE A CARDBOARD THE PROVIDED SLIDER. PUT THE SLIDER INSIDE THE FILTER COMPARTMENT AND GENTLY SPREAD IT AGAINST THE PREFILTER
- NSTALL THE CARBON FILTER. BE CAREFUL NOT TO CATCH THE EDGES OF THE SLIDER. MAKE SURE THE CARBON FILTER IS ALL THE WAY IN AND SITS ON THE FOAM GASKET
- GENTLY PULL OUT THE SLIDER USING BOTH HANDS
- INSTALL THE HEPA FILTER. MAKE SURE THE PREFILTER AND THE FILTER OVERCLOTH ARE NOT COVERING THE BOTTOM BRACKETS. ADD THE UPPER GASKET AND THE BOTTOM COVER AND REPLACE AND REFASTEN THE 4 SCREWS

WARRANTY FOR AIRPURA PRIVATE AND RESIDENTIAL USE
Where the Airpura Air Purifier is usedfor private or residential purposes, the
following warranty applies. Thedetermination of the type of use will bemade
exclusively by Airpura Industries Inc.If within five (5) years from the date
of theoriginal purchase by the end user from theAuthorized Dealer, any Airpura
air purifier(with the exception of filters, UV lamps orelectrical plugs) is
proved to be defectiveby reason only of faulty workmanship ormaterials,
Airpura Industries Inc. will eitherrepair or replace the part or product
freeof charge for labor, materials and shippingonly. This decision to repair
or replace will be made by Airpura.
If after five (5) years and not more than ten (10) years from the date of the
original purchase by the end user from the Authorized Dealer, an Airpura air
purifier (with the exception of filters or UV lamps) is proved to be defective
by reason only of faulty workmanship or materials, Airpura Industries Inc.
will at their option, repair or replace the part or product free of charge for
labor only. Any replacement parts deemed necessary by Airpura Industries and
shipping of unit will be charged to the purchaser.
This warranty is limited to the original retail purchaser and is not
transferable. The warranty does not cover damage due to accidents, abuse,
tampering or misuse, nor does it cover damage resulting from service by
persons other than Airpura.
WARRANTY FOR AIRPURA COMMERCIAL USE
Where the Airpura Air Purifier is used for commercial purposes, the following
warranty applies.
If within two (2) years from the date of the original purchase by the end user
from the Authorized Dealer, any Airpura air purifier (with the exception of
filters, UV lamps or electrical plugs) is proved to be defective by reason
only of faulty workmanship or materials, Airpura Industries Inc. will either
repair or replace the part or product free of charge for labor, materials and
shipping only. This decision to repair or replace will be made by Airpura. If
after two (2) years and not more than five (5) years from the date of the
original purchase by the end user from the Authorized Dealer, an Airpura air
purifier (with the exception of filters or UV lamps) is proved to be defective
by reason only of faulty workmanship or materials, Airpura Industries Inc.
will at their option, repair or replace the part or product free of charge for
labor only. Any replacement parts deemed necessary by Airpura Industries and
shipping of unit will be charged to the purchaser. Obvious defects must be
communicated to the Authorized Dealer within 10 days from the purchase date.
This warranty shall not apply to damage caused through misuse, wear and tear,
neglect, unauthorized repair or to damage caused through installation,
adaptation, modification or use in an improper manner or inconsistent with
Airpura’s operating and maintenance instructions, wear or deterioration due to
environmental conditions or to damage occurred during transit. Airpura
Industries will not be liable under this warranty for any fault or damage
arising from defective workmanship, if the product has been serviced, repaired
or modified by any person other than Airpura Industries Inc. or the
manufacturer’s serial label has been removed or tampered with. Warranty is
void if the customer opens up top chamber of the unit where electrical
components are located and/or top chamber is tampered with.
All products returned for service or repair must be accompanied with a RA
(Return Authorization) number. The RA number must be clearly visible on the
external packaging. The absence of an RA number will delay the service or
repair process. Any shipment to Airpura Industries Inc. not accompanied with
an RA number will not be accepted or will be immediately sent back to the
shipper. Please contact the dealer you purchased the unit at in order to
receive an RA number prior to shipment.
