• DISCONNECT POWER BEFORE RE-LAMPING OR WIRING THE FIXTURE. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS COMPLETELY BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION.
• TO AVOID THE RISK OF FIRE OR SHOCK, FIXTURE MUST BE INSTALLED IN COMPLIANCE WITH ALL APPLICABLE NATIONAL AND LOCAL ELECTRICAL/BUILDING CODES. THE INSTALLATION ANDMAINTENANCE OF THIS UNIT SHOULD BE COMPLETED BY A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN OR CERTIFIED FACTORY TRAINED TECHNICIAN.

• UNPACK FIXTURE, PARTS AND PARTS BAG(S) BEFORE DISCARDING THE CARTON. MAKE CERTAIN THAT ALL PARTS ARE FOUND. INSPECT THE FIXTURE PRIOR TO INSTALLATION FOR ANYDAMAGE. HVLG DOES NOT PAY OR REIMBURSE ELECTRICIAN FEES. FIXTURE MAY NOT BE RETURNED ONCE IT HAS BEEN INSTALLED. SEE WARRANTY FOR EXCEPTIONS.
• PLEASE CLEAN WITH A SOFT, DRY CLOTH ONLY! DO NOT USE CLEANSERS.

CLARK6431 Installation Instructions

FIXTURE INSTALLATION

1. Determine the location for the lamp. Using the mounting plate as a template, mark the location of theholes for the WALL ANCHOR (G).
2. Drill the appropriate size holes for the WALL ANCHOR (G). (the holes should be slightly smaller thanthe size of the anchors.) Install the wall anchors to the hole.
3. Attach the MOUNTING PLATE (A) onto the junction box using the MOUNTING SCREWS (B). Thisfixture is designed to be mounted on standard junction box. The junction box must be securely mounted to the structure of the building. Screw in the WOOD SCREW (F) to the WALL ANCHOR (G).
4. Attach the Ground wire (Green) to the ground inside the outlet box (Generally green or bar copperwire) or the GROUND SCREW (C) on the MOUNTING PLATE (A). NEVER CONNECT GROUND WIRE TO “HOT” WIRE FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH
5. Connect the white fixture lead to the neutral (Generally white) wire in the outlet box. Fasten the wirestogether with an approved fastener (WIRE NUT) (D). Starting 1″ below the fastener, tightly wrap the connection with electrical tape so that the connections seals the end of the fastener. MAKE SURETHERE ARE NO EXPOSED WIRE OF STRANDS THAT COULD CAUSE A DANGEROUS SHORT CIRCUIT
6. Connect the black fixture leads to the hot (Generally black) wire in the junction box. Fasten the joinedwires same as previous step. NEVER REVERSE HOT AND NEUTRAL WIRES. FAILURE TO FOLLOWTHIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH
7. Attach the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (H) to the MOUNTING PLATE (A) and secure with the FIXTUREMOUNTING SCREWS (E).
8. Screw the BULB (I) and BULB (K) into the SOCKET of the fixture.THIS FIXTURE IS RATED FOR MAX 6WATT TYPE G9 LAMP AND MAX 8 WATT TYPE MR16 LAMP. DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDEDWATTAGE
9. Screw the ALABASTER (J) into the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (H) of the fixture.
10. Adjust the angle of the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (H) as needed with SWIVEL (K).
11. Use the SWITCH (L) on the fixture to turn it on and off.
12. Restore power to the outlet at the breaker or fuse box.
