Important Safety Information
WARNING:
Check your plug and power outlet. If they are loose or in bad shape, it may
produce a bad connection and could damage the EW-V010-120 and/or equipment.
Risk of electric shock. Before any repair or maintenance by a qualified
technician, the protector must be unplugged. For your safety and warranty, do
not exceed the maximum current capacity.
Installation
- Plug the equipment’s cord into the protector’s power outlet.
- Plug the EW-V010-120 into the wall power outlet.
- Turn on the protector’s switch (located on the protector).
Normal Operation
If the protector has been off for over 3 minutes and if the voltage is in
normal conditions:
- The WAITING CYCLE LED light will turn on for 3 seconds.
- Afterwards, the NORMAL VOLTAGE LED light will turn on, connecting the equipment to be protected.
Voltage Failure Protection
When a voltage failure occurs:
- The EW-V010-120 will indicate the failure type and disconnect the power to protect the equipment.
- When the voltage returns to normal conditions:
- The WAITING CYCLE LED light will turn on for 3 minutes.
- Then, the NORMAL VOLTAGE LED light will turn on, and connect the equipment to be protected.
