Product Usage Instructions

Timer On
- Press the X key and the time on the LCD flashes.
- Press the +/- key to adjust the time when you want to make the air conditioner turn on automatically.
- The time on the LCD will stop flashing after 15 seconds. The setting is complete.
- The timer can only be set when the power is off.
Timer Off
- Press the X key and the time on the LCD flashes.
- Press the +/- key to adjust the time when you want to make the air conditioner turn off automatically.
- The time on the LCD will stop flashing after 15 seconds. The setting is complete.

Product Description

The KT-618 presents a new product, featuring a patented code-selling technology, which was ingeniously developed by a team of engineers.
You can input the numeric keys (0- 9) for the code required directly, visual and convenient, quick and efficient.
It has an accurate clock, a timer on and off, a room temperature display, conversions between Celsius and Fahrenheit degrees, a Sleep function, code memory, and also has the unique function of “intelligent cooling” and “intelligent heating”.
It stands as the optimal selection for your needs.
Please read this manual carefully before using it, which will be a great help for you to use the remote control.
The remote control can be used after setting.
Pull the side cover of the remote control down and put 2 AAA (VM-4, R03) batteries as per the polar indicated on the battery cabin.

Patent Code Set Up

Find out the codes from the code table. There are many groups of codes for each brand. Please try the first group first; if it can’t control your equipment, try the second, and do it like this until the codes can operate your equipment. Ex: ALPIN, you can input 0252 first; if it does not work, please try the second code 0253, etc.
Press the “SEL” key, and the code on the LCD will flash. Enter the 4-digit codes in turn. Ex: “0252”, press the “0” key, “0” stop flashing, the last three numbers flashing, then press the “2” key, the last two numbers flashing, and press the “5” key, the last number flashing, finally press the last number “2”, all of the 4 digit codes “0252” stop flashing, code enter is now completed. The remote control confirms the code automatically, and you can use the numeric key normally. You can use your air conditioner now.
Turn on the air conditioner and try other function keys. If they do not work well, please try the next group of code until all the functions can work. The remote control contains 10,000 codes, so it is invalid when the code is larger than 9999.

Auto-Search Code Setting

If you do not know the brand of your air conditioner, or if your brand is not listed in the code table, please operate as the following steps:

Put the remote control aimed at your air conditioner, press the “SEL” key for 5 seconds, and then release, The remote control enters the auto-search status, emits the signal continuously, and the code flashes and increases. While the air conditioner receives the signal and sends one buzzer, press any key to confirm.
Try other function keys, if they do not work, repeat the above steps until it is correct.

Using “intelligent cooling” “intelligent heating”

In the summer, press the “ ” only, and the air conditioner will start cooling the room immediately.
In the winter, press the “ ” key only, the air conditioner will start heating the room immediately.
In both states, the air conditioner will provide you with a comfortable temperature automatically, and the fan and swing are all automatic.
At the same time, you can also adjust the temperature with the “Temp+” and “Temp-” keys as you like.
These two intelligent keys are highly suitable for both children and the elderly.

Timer On

Press the “ ” key, and the time on the LCD flashes.
Press the “+/-” key, and adjust the time when you want to make the air conditioner turn on automatically.
The time on the LCD will stop flashing after 15 seconds. The setting is complete.
The timer only can be set when the power is off.

Timer Off

Press the “ ” key, and the time on the LCD flashes.
Press the “+/-” key, and adjust the time when you want to make the air conditioner turn off automatically.
Time on the LCD will stop flashing after 15 seconds. The setting is complete.
The timer off only can be set when the power is on.

Note:

If press the” ” or “ ” key twice, the timer is canceled.
After the timer setting is finished, make sure the remote aims at the unit and is in range. If not, it can not work.

Conversions between Celsius (ºC) and Fahrenheit (ºF) degree

Press the “C/F” key to convert the display between Fahrenheit and Celsius display

Attention

If it is not used for a long time, remove the battery to avoid battery leakage. When the LCD looks dim, please change the batteries. (New and old batteries cannot be used together). After the batteries are replaced, it is not necessary to set the model code again.
Make sure there is no barrier between the remote and the air conditioner. The operation is effective only when the unit receives the signal from the remote.
The manufacturer keeps the right to change the parameters and function of the product.
