  • DISCONNECT POWER BEFORE RE-LAMPING OR WIRING THE FIXTURE. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS COMPLETELY BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION.
  • TO AVOID THE RISK OF FIRE OR SHOCK, FIXTURE MUST BE INSTALLED IN COMPLIANCE WITH ALL APPLICABLE NATIONAL AND LOCAL ELECTRICAL/BUILDING CODES. THE INSTALLATION ANDMAINTENANCE OF THIS UNIT SHOULD BE COMPLETED BY A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN OR CERTIFIED FACTORY TRAINED TECHNICIAN.

FIXTURE INSTALLATION

  1. Attach the MOUNTING PLATE (A) onto the junction box using the MOUNTING SCREWS (B). Thisfixture is designed to be mounted on standard round or octagon junction box. The junction box mustbe securely mounted to the structure of the building.
  2. Screw the STEM (J) into the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (K) of the fixture.
  3. Open the end link on the CHAIN (I) and attach to the loop on the STEM (J). Hang the STEM (J) on theCHAIN (I) at your desired height, and remove excess CHAIN (I).
  4. Feed the wire through the CHAIN (I) , SCREW COLLAR (G), CANOPY (H), SCREW COLLAR LOOP (F),NIPPLE (E), and MOUNTING PLATE (A), and screw the NIPPLE (E) onto the MOUNTING PLATE (A).
  5. Open the top link on the CHAIN (I), and Hang the STEM (J) to the SCREW COLLAR LOOP (F)..
  6. Cut off excess wire, and strip the insulation off the end of the leads.
  7. Attach the Ground wire (Green) to the ground inside the junction box (Generally green or bar copperwire) or the GROUND SCREW (C) on the MOUNTING PLATE (A). NEER CONNECT GROUND WIRE TO “HOT” WIRE FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
  8. Connect the fixture lead the ridge(s) to the neutral (Generally white) wire in the outlet box. Fasten thewires together with an approved fastener (WIRE NUT) (D). Starting 1″ below the fastener, tightly wrap the connection with electrical tape so that the connections seals the end of the fastener. MAKE SURETHERE ARE NO EXPOSED WIRE OF STRANDS THAT COULD CAUSE A DANGEROUS SHORT CIRCUIT
  9. Connect the smooth fixture leads with to the hot (Generally black) wire in the junction box. Fasten thejoined wires same as previous step. NEER REERSE HOT AND NEUTRAL WIRES. FAILURE TOFOLLOW THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
  10. Push the wires back into the junction box. Lift up the CANOPY (H) up to the ceiling, and secure withthe SCREW COLLAR (G).
  11. Insert the BULB (M) into the SOCKET of the fixture. THIS FIXTURE IS RATED FOR MAX 8 WATT TYPE BLAMP. DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED WATTAGE
  12. Place the SHADE (L) over the BULB (M) of the fixture.
  13. Restore power to the outlet at the breaker or fuse box.
