FIXTURE INSTALLATION
- Feed the WIRE (K) of the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (L) through the SCREW COLLAR (I), CANOPY (G), NIPPLE (E), MOUNTING PLATE (A), and STRAIN RELIEF WASHER (F) until you desired to hang height is met.
- Tie an overhand knot to secure the wire in place above the NIPPLE (E). Trim off excess wire minimum” beyond the knot and Strip each wire end 5/8″
- Attach the MOUNTING PLATE (A) to the Junction box using the MOUNTING SCREWS (B). This fixture is designed to be mounted to a standard round or octagon junction box. The junction box must be securely mounted to the structure of the building.
- Screw the BULB (N) up into the SOCKET of the fixture. THIS FIXTURE IS RATED FOR MAX 15 TYPE A LAMP. DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED WATTAGEĞ
- Put the GLASS (O) into the RING (M) of the fixture.
- Open the end link on the CHAIN (J) and attach it to the loop on the RING (M). Hang the RING (M) on the CHAIN (J) at your desired height, and remove excess CHAIN (J).
- Feed the wire through the CHAIN (H), LOOP (H), CANOPY (G) and MOUNTING PLATE (A).
- Open the top link on the CHAIN (H), and Hang the RING (M) to the LOOP (H).
- Cut off excess wire, and strip the insulation off the end of the leads.
- Attach the Ground wire (Green) to the ground inside the junction box (Generally green or bare copper wire) or the GROUND SCREW (C) on the MOUNTING PLATE (A). NEVER CONNECT GROUND WIRETO “HOT” WIREĞ FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH
- Connect the fixture lead the ridge(s) to the neutral (Generally white) wire in the outlet box. Fasten the wires together with an approved fastener (WIRE NUT) (D). Starting 1″ below the fastener, tightly wrap the connection with electrical tape so that the connection seals the end of the fastener. MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO EXPOSED WIRES OR STRANDS THAT COULD CAUSE A DANGEROUS SHORT CIRCUITĞ
- Connect the smooth fixture leads with to the hot (Generally black) wire in the junction box. Fasten the joined wires the same as in the previous step. NEVER RE-EARSE HOT AND NEUTRAL WIRES. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH
- Push the wires back into the junction box. Lift the CANOPY (G) to the ceiling, and secure the COLLAR (I) onto the NIPPLE (E).
