UNPACK FIXTURE, PARTS AND PARTS BAG(S) BEFORE DISCARDING THE CARTON. MAKE CERTAIN THAT ALL PARTS ARE FOUND. INSPECT THE FIXTURE PRIOR TO INSTALLATION FOR ANY DAMAGE. HVLG DOES NOT PAY OR REIMBURSE ELECTRICIAN FEES. FIXTURE MAY NOT BE RETURNED ONCE IT HAS BEEN INSTALLED. SEE WARRANTY FOR EXCEPTIONS.

FIXTURE INSTALLATION
- Hang the TOP SHADE (I) onto the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (N).
- Attach the BOTTOM SHADE (J) onto the TOP SHADE (I) using BALL NUT (K), STUD (M), SPACER (L).
- Attach the MOUNTING PLATE (A) unto the junction box using the MOUNTING SCREWS (B). Thisfixture is designed to be mounted on standard round or octagon junction box. The junction box mustbe securely mounted to the structure of the building.
- Hook the CHAIN (G) onto the CANOPY (F) and FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (N). Feed the wire onto theCHAIN (G) and CANOPY (F).
- Attach the Ground wire (Green) to the ground inside the outlet box (Generally green or bare copperwire) or the GROUND SCREW (C) on the MOUNTING PLATE (A). NEER CONNECT GROUND WIRETO “HOT” WIREĞ FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATHĞ
- Connect the white fixture lead to the neutral (Generally white) wire in the outlet box. Fasten the wirestogether with an approved fastener (WIRE NUT) (D). Starting 1″ below the fastener, tightly wrap theconnection with electrical tape so that the connections seals the end of the fastener. MAKE SURE THEREARE NO EXPOSED WIRE OF STRANDS THAT COULD CAUSE A DANGEROUS SHORT CIRCUITĞ
- Connect the black fixture leads to the hot (Generally black) wire in the junction box. Fasten the joinedwires same as previous step. NEER REERSE HOT AND NEUTRAL WIRES. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THISCOULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATHĞ
- Attach the CANOPY (F) to the MOUNTING PLATE (A) using FLATHEAD SCREWS (E).
- Screw the BULB (H) into the SOCKET of the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (N). THIS FIXTURE IS RATED FOR 8WATT TYPE B LAMP. DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED WATTAGEĞ
- Restore power to the outlet at the breaker or fuse box.
