DELVCAM DELV-MLCD25 High Performance Micro 2.5 Inch LCD
DELVCAM leads the way in high-performance specialty LCD products. The DELV- MLCD25 is a micro LED Back Lighted PAL-NTSC LCD that measures 2.5 inches diagonally and weighs just 90 grams. It is feature-packed and serves multiple markets that require excellent color and picture quality in a very small lightweight package. With a resolution of 480×234, this small but powerful LCD suits the need where size matters. It is provided with a built-in rechargeable Lithium Ion battery that fits flush to the back of the unit. A 5VDC 110/220 universal charger wall pack is provided to recharge or operate the LCD. Designed to operate at a low current consumption the LCD will operate for 1 hour on battery. The DELV-MLCD25 is very useful for those environments where a small LCD is the answer. It is provided with a smart wrist mount strap for easy viewing. A real asset for video service techs, the MLCD25 can be used for signal confirmation in CCTV and security jobs. It is also perfect for debugging patch fields and wire harnesses. When you need to place it on a desk top the MLCD25 has a wire bracket for just that type of deployment. The versatility and utility of this product is endless and affordable. The DELV- MLCD25 is provided with a charger/wall pack, wrist strap, desktop stand bracket, and output cable which is terminated in a BNC.

Your DELV-MLCD25 is shipped and ready to work. The following components are provided with the product:

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The internal Li-Ion battery needs to be fully charged. Plug the power supply/charger into the wall and plug the other end plug into the power jack marked DC. Allow the battery to charge for at least 10 hours. Once the battery is charged allow the monitor to run until the battery runs out of power. Then plug in the charger and charge it once again this time overnight. This process will add to the battery life and operation. The battery will eventually stop working after a long while. Once the battery fails to hold a chargeor it does not run the monitor for a good period, it must be replaced. The replacement part is: NOKIA N 73: 3.7V @1200mAH Be certain only to use the charger provided. Do not use a generic replacement as it may cause damage to the product and void the warranty.
LOOPING VIDEO FEATURE
The DELV-MLCD25 is provided with a LOOPING video input. If the monitor is the
only device in the line then the switch at the top of the monitor must be in
the 75 position. If you plan to loop the video in and out of the monitor then
you must use the VIDEO-T connector provided. Feed the video into one end of
the T and connect another such device to the other side of the T. You must now
set the switch to OFF AND BE CERTAIN TO TERMINATE THE END PRODUCT IN THE LOOP.
If the product is self-terminating, then just connect it. If it also has a
looping input, be certain to follow proper instructions for termination
.
TYPICAL VIDEO LOOPING CONFIGURATIONS
The DELV-MLCD25 works in either the PAL or NTSC video standards system. It is
reliable and rugged and will provide hours of good performance. There are a
few rules to help keep the product working:
- DO NOT STORE IN DIRECT SUN OR EXTREME HEAT
- DO NOT ALLOW THE MONITOR TO BECOME SUBMERGED IN LIQUID OR LEFT IN THE RAIN
- DO NOT USE IN EXTREME COLD OR IN EXTREME DUSTY/DIRTY ENVIRONMENTS
- TRY NOT TO DROP OR CRUSH THE MONITOR
General Trouble Shooting
- Only display black and white images: Please make sure that the color level settings of saturation brightness and contrast are proper if the monitor has these adjustments.
- No image after connected to power: Please check whether the cables are tightly connected at both ends.
- Displaying distorted or abnormal colour, as missing certain colour: Please make sure that cables are securely connected; broken or loose cables will send bad signals and make the above problems.
- Washed-out image or appearing something like interference: Please check if the monitor is terminated correctly and if it is a looping model.
- The remote controller can’t work (some units do not have remotes): Please check the correct loading of the battery in the remote. Please check whether there are weak batteries or remote signals that are blocked or interfered.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
- To prevent fire or shock hazards, do not expose this equipment to an environment of high humidity and/or dust. Do not use it in an unprotected outdoor installation or any area classified as overly damp or wet.
- The temperature for installation should be kept between 0°C ~ 60°C. Avoid direct sunlight exposure or extreme changes in temperature over a short period.
- Do not disassemble the unit or put it on an unstable base
- Do not drop it and avoid heavy impact.
- Ventilation: Any openings in the enclosure are provided for ventilation to ensure the reliable operation of the unit and to protect it from overheating. These openings, if any, must not be blocked or covered. This unit should not be placed in a built-in installation unless proper ventilation is provided.
- Cleaning: Unplug the unit from the main outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners, only use a damp cloth.
- Do not overload outlets and extension cords as this may result in a risk of fire or electric shock.
- Enclosure Entry of any kind is dangerous. Never push objects of any kind, including liquids, into this unit through openings as they may touch dangerous voltage points or short-out parts that could result in a fire or electric shock.
- Service: Do not attempt to open or service this unit yourself as opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerous voltage or other hazards.
- There are no user-serviceable parts inside the unit. If the unit requires service please contact your authorized dealer or an authorized repair service company.
