Product Usage Instructions
Removal Instructions:
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the column tilt lever by pulling straight out, if equipped.
- Remove the column lower cover by removing mounting screws.
- Remove the upper column cover by removing the retaining screw and lifting it off the column.
- Remove the ignition lock cylinder by rotating it to the start position, then insert a small screwdriver or pick into the release hole and pull the lock from the column.
Installation Instructions:
- Install the ignition lock cylinder. If the lock does not seat into the housing, use a screwdriver to align the internal mechanism with the new lock cylinder.
- Reinstall the steering column upper trim cover and screw.
- Reinstall the lower steering column trim cover and retaining screws.
- Reinstall the tilt lever if equipped.
- Reconnect the negative battery cable and verify the proper operation of the ignition lock.

Removal Instructions

STEP 1: Disconnect negative battery cable.

STEP 2: Remove column tilt lever by pulling straight out, if equipped.

STEP 3: Remove column lower cover by removing mounting screws.

STEP 4: Remove upper column cover by removing retaining screw and lifting off of column.

STEP 5: Remove ignition lock cylinder by rotating to start position. While holding ignition in start position, insert small screwdriver or pick into release hole and pull lock from column.
Installation Instructions

STEP 1: Install ignition lock cylinder. If lock will not seat into housing use a screwdriver to align internal mechanism with new lock cylinder.

STEP 2: Reinstall steering column upper trim cover and screw.
