use

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Before using this device read the instruction manual and follow the instructions inside. The manufacturer is not liable for any damages caused by the misuse of this device due to inappropriate handling. Please keep this manual for future reference.

  • This device is for domestic use only. Do not use for any other purposes.

  • The device should be cleaned regularly complying with the recommendations described in the section on cleaning and maintenance.

  • Do not place the device near sources of heat, flame, an electric heating element or a hot oven. Do not place on any other device.

  • This equipment can be used by children aged 8 years and over under as long as supervision is provided. People with reduced physical or mental capabilities, as well as people with no previous experience of using this equipment must be
    supervised and made aware of the risks. The instruction manual should be used as a reference for the safe use of this equipment. Children should not play with the equipment.

  • Children without ensured supervision should not be allowed to perform the cleaning and maintenance of equipment.

  • Additional precautions should be taken when using this device in the presence of children or pets. Do not allow children to play with the device.

  • Never use the product close to combustibles.

  • Never expose the product to atmospheric conditions such as direct sun light or rain, etc… Never use the product in humid conditions (like bathroom or camping house).

  • Only Original accessories should be used, as well as accessories recommended by the manufacturer. Using accessories which are not recommended by the manufacturer may result in damage of the device and may render the device unsafe for use.

  • The AC adapter should be connected to an outlet with characteristics consistent with the values on the rating label.

  • If the cord or power plug or adaptor is damaged or the plug has a loose electrical outlet, do not charge the device and do not power it from the mains.

  • Unplug the AC adapter from the electrical outlet when not in use.
    Do not connect or disconnect the adaptor from the power source with wet hands.
    Do not vacuum without first ensuring that filters are installed correctly.

  • You cannot vacuum very fine dust such as flour, cement, gypsum powder, toners, or dirt that may be hot, such as ash, cigarette butts, and matches.
    You should use the vacuum cleaner to clean dry surfaces only.
    Do not use the vacuum cleaner on damp and wet cleaned carpets and flooring.

  • Keep the cable out of reach of children and babies to avoid the risk of electrocution and strangulation, keep the appliance and its cable out of the reach of children under 8 years of age.

Charger and battery pack safety instructions

To connect the battery pack for charging, insert the battery pack into the charger dock and plug the charger to a power source.

  • Keep the charger away from rain and moisture. The charger may only be used indoors.

  • Keep the charger clean.

  • Do not operate the charger on readily combustible objects and surfaces (e.g. paper) or areas with flammable/explosive
    atmospheres.

  • Always ensure adequate ventilation when charging; fumes or battery acid can be released from the battery pack if the
    latter is compromised by poor handling or damage.

  • When charging is complete, unplug the charger from the power source. Do not leave it connected to a power source for longer than necessary.

  • Store and charge the battery pack in a dry place and make sure it will not be flooded by water.

  • Keep the battery pack terminals clean and free of dirt.

  • Protect the battery pack from shocks and moisture; never open the battery pack or expose it to any damage.

The battery pack charge level can be displayed with the number of charge indicator LEDs by pressing the state of charge indicator button on the pack; if required, charge the battery pack for as long as required to reach the desired charge level and the expected operating time of the cordless power tool.

BEFORE STARTING THE VACCUUM CLEANER

Make sure that the vacuum cleaner’s dust chamber is empty and the filters are correctly inserted. Attach the hose and the general-purpose nozzle brush with the power brush or the crevice nozzle. To switch on the vacuum cleaner, press the power button. To adjust the suction power, press the suction-adjustment button. A fully charged battery provides approximately 15 minutes of operation with maximum suction power, or 30 minutes with less suction power.

INSTALLING THE BATTERY PACK

Tip: Using a battery pack incompatible with the power tool may result in abnormal performance or failure of the power tool.
Insert the battery pack into the handle until the battery pack latch clicks (the battery pack should be flush with the receptacle edges on the power tool).

CHARGING THE BATTERY

  • Insert the charger plug into the battery socket
  • Connect the charger to the power source
  • The time to fully charge the battery at 20°C is 1,5 hours
  • The indicator light may not light up if the battery overheats due to direct sunlight or other factors. If this happens, allow the battery to cool down and then restart the charging process.
  • Due to their internal chemical composition, batteries that have never been used or that have not been used for a long time may not reach their full capacity during the first or second use. This is temporary. Repeat the charging process three times to restore optimum battery performance.

WHEN THE POWER BRUSH LOCKS

When the vacuum cleaner’s power brush becomes locked while vacuuming is in progress, the lock indicator starts flashing. Switch off the device and clean the power brush. The device can be restarted.

AFTER VACUUMING

Remove the nozzle. Clean the accessories. Empty the container.

EMPTYING THE CONTAINER

To remove the container, press the container-latch-release button and remove it.
Remove the filters fitted in the container. Empty the container. Clean the filters.
To replace the container, follow the steps above in reverse order.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Clean the nozzles and container and remove the dust on a regular basis.
The main unit can be wiped with a damp cloth and then immediately wiped dry.
Clean the filters each time you empty the dust container. It is recommended to clean the filters thoroughly under running water. After cleaning the filters, replace them only when they are completely dry.
It is recommended to replace the HEPA filter every 4 months, and the prefilters every 2 months, depending on the frequency of use. Replace the filters according to the instructions provided in the section on emptying the container.
