Onnline OCDC400 K04 Cable Distribution Cabinet Instructions
1. Before you start!
• This cabinet is made of hot-dip galvanised steel panelling (thickness: 1.5
mm), and has been powder- painted with the colour RAL7015.
• The cabinet must be stored in such a way that no water or snow will collect
in it. It is recommended that the cabinet be stored in an upright position.
The cabinet’s rated current rating is either 630 A or 1000 A, and its voltage
is 400V.
The cabinets’ IP20 rail system is compatible with Apator, Wöhner and Pronutec
switches.
For example:
ARS 00-3-V-2T pro / ARS 2-6-V-H pro / ARS 3-6-V-H pro
NH 00 W33704C / NH1 W33701C / NH2 W33702C / NH3 W33703C
2. Installation
To make lifting easier, these cabinets contain lifting lugs that allow them to
be lifted into place safely and without any damage to their structure. The
lifting lugs should be removed after installation.
• The cabinet must be supported during installation and the initial filling
must be adequate, to prevent the cabinet from unnecessarily tilting.
• Installation of the cabinet should be done in such a way that the switches
and connectors are not exposed to rain and do not get dirty (e.g. due to being
splashed by adjacent traffic).
The distribution cabinet should (if possible) be placed at the side of a cable manhole, or the manhole should be widened at the point adjacent to the cabinet, so that the cables rise vertically (when viewed from in front) into the cabinet. The cables must be adequately bent at the base of the manhole, so that the pressure placed by the soil on the cables over time does not tip the cabinet to an angle. Also, filling of the manhole must be done with care, so that the ground sinks as little as possible thereafter.
