Instructions for Installation and Care of Polaris Ranger 150
Full Cab with Aero-Vent Windshield PO-150-FC04
Notice: Do not smoke inside the cab or expose the enclosure to direct
flames. The cab is Flammable.
Be sure to read these instructions thoroughly before opening and installing
the enclosure. The installation is best done when the temperature is 70
degrees F. or warmer. The temperature affects the adhesive Velcro, if
conditions prevent installing in warmer weather it helps to store the adhesive
Velcro at room temperature prior to installation.
- Carefully open the carton and remove the enclosure on a large flat surface that is clean and free of dirt.
- Check over the parts included in the carton with the parts list shown below:

If any parts are damaged or missing, please contact customer service at
606-845-7439.
Soft Doors:
-
Begin by placing the 4″ and 5″ adhesive Velcro strips in the top corners. The following pictures show where they go (see next page).
-
Next, hold the door up to the frame and attach these spots then continue attaching it using the double-sided Velcro strips sewn perpendicular to the edge of the door. At each of the double-sided strips take one of the 3″ adhesive Velcro strips and adhere it to the inside of the frame. Then wrap the double-sided strip around it so that the adhesive strip holds it firmly in place. The following diagrams show how it should look.
-
Down the back of the door are three double-sided tabs. To hold these use the supplied 20″ adhesive Velcro strips. On the passenger side you will need to cut the Velcro and place it below and above the flag mount.
-
Once all the Velcro is attached securely take the snap studs and screw them into the plastic doors. NOTE: It helps to put the snap studs into the sockets in the canvas first. Then one at a time pushes the screw into the plastic hard enough so that a mark is left behind. Pull the snap stud back out of the door and screw it into the plastic where the mark was made. snap the door in place and move on to the next one. See the photo below.
AERO-VENT POLYCARBONATE WINDSHIELD: Install as shown in the directions included with the windshield.
REAR WINDOW: -
Begin by placing the 34″ adhesive Velcro strips across the top of the roll cage. Make sure to place it on top of the bar. The photo below shows how it should look.
-
The sides of the Rear Window attach to the double-sided tabs sewn along the back of the doors. On the passenger side there is a slit in the Velcro, this is where the Flag mount will go through. See photo below
-
Lastly, take the 30″ adhesive Velcro strip and place it on the wall behind the seats to match up with the Velcro sewn along the bottom of the Rear Window.
TOP CAP:
-
Begin by taking the straps with a loop on one end and wrap it around the roll cage just under the windshield strap in the front and at the bottom of the roll cage just under the enclosure in the rear.
-
Now place the top over the entire vehicle, the front of the top is identified by the sides being more steeply curved, and begin by lacing the front straps through the ladder lock buckles sewn to the front corners of the top. The diagram below shows how to use the ladder buckle.
-
Now run those straps up and through the ladder lock buckles sewn to the rear of the top
-
You now need to tighten and loosen the strap of the top so that it is centered correctly.
Cleaning and Storage Recommendations
- Before removing the Cab for storage, make sure it is very clean in order to prevent scratching of the window panels. Clean with a soft rag or sponge using a mild liquid detergent soap and warm water solution. Never rub the windows with a dry cloth or rag! Let the Cab dry thoroughly before attempting to roll for storage.
- It is important that the Cab be rolled up for storage rather than folding. Folding will cause damage to the windows!!! Carefully roll up the Cab similar to the way it was when it was packed at the factory. On a large, clean and flat surface, fold the doors over the rear panel first, then, interleave the top and windshield on top of the doors. Begin rolling the Cab into a roll approximately 8 inches in diameter. Put the rolled Cab back into the carton for storage at normal room temperature. It is best not to expose the Cab to either extremely hot or cold temperatures when storing.
- A special cleaner conditioner is available from Falcon Ridge that will greatly increase the service life of the Cab Enclosure. In addition, if the additional hook and loop sets are needed, they can also be ordered.
