CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Stainless steel is a timeless and modern floor drain material. It’s easy to keep steel clean and hygienic. Mud stoppers are made of high-quality materials in Finland. Stainless steel (AISI 304) is used as a raw material for the mud stopper. The mat is made of EPDM rubber and aluminum. The material of the basin is hard; this means it will not absorb odors or other impurities. To get the most out of our product, it is good to remember a few care tips.
Washing with normal soap is enough for the basic cleaning of the well and the rubber-aluminum mat. If necessary, you can use a chlorine-based detergent for cleaning; after washing, the detergent must be rinsed off thoroughly, especially from the seams.
- Do not leave ammonia-containing or other corrosive substances on the surface, but rinse them off as soon as possible, as they will damage the steel.
- Do not leave in contact with iron, steel, or other stainless metals.
- Do not use sharp objects for cleaning.
- Avoid using sandpaper.
- It is a good idea to clean the dirt trap regularly.
In addition, it should be noted that the rubber-aluminium mat and basin may be damaged if heavy carts, trolleys, or other heavy objects are pulled over it. If a heavy object has to be transported over the mud stopper, the mat should be removed and the basin should be protected by covering it with suitable plywood or metal plate.
