What’s in the box
Warning!
Headphones can ONLY use Avantree HT280 original batteries. Any other
rechargeable batteries will NOT work.
Use with TV/AV Receiver
Step 1: Connect the Tower to a Power Source Connect tower A to power using the AC Adapter C
Step 2: Connect the Tower A to your TV/AV Receiver
Locate the AUDIO OUTPUT port on your TV/AV Receiver, connect it to the back of
tower A using the corresponding cable, and switch the Audio In Select on
the transmitter to the proper position.
Step 3: FOLLOW THE STEPS here to Power on everything. TV – Headphone – Transmitter Tower
Step 4: If NO SOUND, go to your Settings MENU Go into your TV’s SETTINGS MENU, and set the audio output format to either PCM or Stereo. If there’s an option for Dolby, please select anything that’s NOT DOLBY,

IMPORTANT: Do NOT use your own batteries, they won’t work. Please ONLY use the Avantree HT280 Batteries.

How to Use 2 or More Headphones on the HT280
Step 1 – Turn on the original HT280, they will auto-connected. Make sure
that there is audio coming through.
Step 2 – Take the other headphone(s) that you’d like to connect. With the
headphones powered OFF, press & hold the button until the indicator (close to
) starts flashing RED and GREEN rapidly.
Step 3 -Turn the Tower OFF and turn it back on. Give it a few seconds,
once connected, the indicator (close to U) on the headphones will turn SOLID
GREEN. Reconnect on your Next Use For your next use, please) Turn on your
TV/Audio source, 2) Turn on all the headphones, and 3) Turn off and back on
the tower. They should all automatically reconnect.
Troubleshooting
If headphones fail to reconnect to the transmitter dock, try the following:
- Ensure your TV is turned on and there’s audio coming into the dock. Then turn off your headphones and the transmitter dock, and follow THIS ORDER to turn them on Headphone-> TV-> Transmitter Dock. The indicator should then turn SOLID GREEN.
- If the method above still fails, try manually reconnecting them:
- Turn off both the headphones & the dock.
- Press and hold on to the headphones until start to flash RED and GREEN rapidly.
- Turn the dock back on. Give it a few seconds, once connected, will turn SOLID GREEN.
