Lexus Personalized Settings

Your vehicle includes a variety of electronic features that can be programmed to your preferences. The programming of these features is performed once at no charge by your Lexus Dealer provided you obtain the service at the 6-month/5,000-mile scheduled maintenance service.
It is also possible to customize certain vehicle features yourself using the navigation system screen.

Vehicles with Navigation System:

STEP 3
Select Vehicle on the sub menu.
STEP 4
Scroll to “Vehicle Customization” and press touchpad to select.
Then select desired categories for customization.
Vehicle must be in “On” mode to program personalized settings.

Settings that can be customized by:

1. Automatic Door Lock
The automatic door locks can be programmed as follows:
□ The doors automatically lock when the vehicle speed is 12 mph or higher = By Speed
□ The doors automatically lock when the vehicle is taken out of Park and shifted into another range (Default setting) = By Shift from P
□ The doors will not automatically lock = Off| |
2. Automatic Door Unlock
The automatic door locks can be programmed as follows:
□ The doors automatically unlock when the vehicle is shifted into Park (Default setting) = By Shift to P
□ All the doors automatically unlock when the driver door is opened = By Driver Door
□ The doors will not automatically unlock = Off| | Dealer only
3. Remote 2-Press Unlock
When using the electronic key to unlock the doors:
□ Pressing the unlock button one time unlocks the driver’s door and two times unlocks all doors (Default setting) = On
□ Pressing the unlock button one time unlocks all doors = Off| |
4. Wireless Lock When Door Opened
Pressing lock button on electronic key will lock doors when they are open:
□ On (Default setting)
□ Off| |
5. Select Doors to Unlock
When using Smart Access to unlock the doors:
□ Gripping the driver door handle will unlock all doors = All Doors
□ Gripping the driver door handle will unlock the driver’s door (Default setting) = Driver’s Door| |
6. Auto Re-lock Timer
When the doors are unlocked and not opened:
□ They will automatically re-lock in 120 seconds
□ They will automatically re-lock in 60 seconds (Default setting)
□ They will automatically re-lock in 30 seconds
□ They will not re-lock = Off| |

9. Auto Seat Temperature FR L (Front Left) Sensitivity level for climate controlled (A/C, heater) driver seat:

Rear seat heater/ventilator is automatically activated when engine is turned On:

Rear seat heater/ventilator is automatically activated when engine is turned On:

15. Auto Heated Steering Wheel Time
Adjust the time when the heated steering wheel automatically turns off:| |
16. Smog Sensor Sensitivity
When in Auto recirculated air mode, the sensor will determine when to switch from outside air to recirculated air based on outside air quality:| |
17. Auto A/C Mode
When Auto A/C is selected:
□ It will automatically engage the air conditioner compressor to reach the set temperature (Default setting) = On
□ It will automatically achieve a set temperature, warm or cool, without engaging the air conditioner compressor = Off
The A/C compressor will be engaged when the Auto A/C button is pressed a second time| |
18. Headlights Auto-On Sensitivity
The front headlights can be programmed to turn On under varying degrees of ambient light conditions (headlight switch must be in Auto mode): Lights Settings| |

19. Headlights Auto-Off Timer
When the ignition is turned off and all the doors are closed (headlight switch must be in On or Auto mode):
□ The headlights will turn off in 90 seconds
□ The headlights will turn off in 60 seconds
□ The headlights will turn off in 30 seconds (Default setting)
□ The headlights will turn off immediately when the vehicle is turned off and the driver door is opened| |
20. Daytime Running Lights
Illumination of daytime running lights:
□ On (Default setting)
□ Off| |
21. Interior Lights Auto-Off Timer
The interior lights can be adjusted to stay on after closing the door as follows:
□ 30 seconds
□ 15 seconds (Default setting)
□ 7.5 seconds
□ Off| | Dealer only
22.  Exterior Lights Auto-Off Timer
The exterior lights can be adjusted to stay on after closing the door as follows:
□ 30 seconds
□ 15 seconds (Default setting)
□ 7.5 seconds

Convenience Services
23. Convenience Services (Suggestion Function)
Suggestion messages for headlight operation and power window lock displayed on the Multi-Information Display:
□ On (Default setting)
□ On While Stopped
□ Off| |
24.  Driver’s Seat Easy-Exit Slide
When the vehicle is placed in Park and the ignition turned Off, the driver seat will:
□ Automatically move fully away from the steering wheel (Default setting) = Full
□ Automatically move partially away from the steering wheel = Partial
□ Remain in the current position, as set by the driver = Off Other Vehicle Settings| |
25.  Driver’s Seat Easy-Exit Lift When the vehicle is placed in Park and the ignition turned Off, the driver seat will:
□ Automatically fully lower = Full
□ Automatically partially lower = Partial
□ Remain in the current position (Default setting) = Off| |

26. Steering Column Easy-Exit
When vehicle is shifted into Park and ignition turned off, steering wheel will:
□ Automatically tilt up from the driver (Default setting) = Tilt Only
□ Automatically move away from the driver = Telescopic Only
□ Automatically tilt up and move away from the driver = Tilt and Telescopic
□ Remain in the current position = Off| |

27. Trunk Link with Door Lock
When using the electronic key to lock/unlock both doors:
□ The trunk will not lock/unlock = Off
□ The trunk will lock/unlock (Default setting) = On| | Dealer only
28. Unlock on Second Key Turn
When using the mechanical key to unlock the doors:
□ Turning the key one time will unlock all doors = Off
□ Turning the key one time unlocks the driver door, and two times unlocks all doors (Default setting) = On| | Dealer only
29.  Access System with Electronic Key
Unlock the doors with:
□ Electronic key unlock button (deactivates Smart Access) = Off
□ Smart Access (touch door handle) or electronic key (Default setting) = On| | Dealer only
30. Door Lock Buzzer
When the lock button on the electronic key is pressed and a door is not fully closed:
□ The buzzer will not sound = Off
□ The buzzer will sound (Default setting) = On| | Dealer only
31. Panic Mode
When pressing the panic button on the electronic key:
□ The alarm will not sound and the vehicle lights will not flash = Off
□ The alarm will sound intermittently and the vehicle lights will flash (Default setting) = On| | Dealer only
32. Opening the Trunk
Pressing the trunk release button on the electronic key will open the trunk. The release button
can be programmed as follows:
□ Press button one time to release the trunk (No delay)
□ Press button two times to release the trunk
□ Press and hold button for 0.8 seconds to release the trunk (Default setting)
□ Press and hold button for 2 seconds to release the trunk
□ The button can be turned off so the trunk cannot be opened using the electronic key| | Dealer only
33. Wireless Remote Window Operation Buzzer
When option #38 is on, and the wireless remote is used to open windows:
□ The buzzer will not sound = Off
□ The buzzer will sound (Default setting) = On| | Dealer only
34. Open Window Buzzer
When the lock button on the electronic key is pressed and a window is not fully closed:
□ The buzzer will not sound = Off
□ The buzzer will sound (Default setting) = On| | Dealer only
35. Open Moon Roof Buzzer
When the lock button on the electronic key is pressed and the moon roof is not fully closed:
□ The buzzer will not sound = Off
□ The buzzer will sound (Default setting) = On| | Dealer only
36. Close Windows and Moon Roof with Mechanical Key
When using the mechanical key to operate windows and moon roof:
□ Turning the key right and holding the position for 2 seconds will not close the windows and moon roof (Default setting) = Off
□ Turning the key right and holding the position for 2 seconds will close the windows and moon roof = On .| | Dealer only
37. Open Windows and Moon Roof with Mechanical Key
When using the mechanical key to operate windows and moon roof:
□ Turning the key left and holding the position for 2 seconds will not open the windows and moon roof (Default setting) = Off
□ Turning the key left and holding the position for 2 seconds will open the windows and moon roof = On| | Dealer only
38. Open Windows and Moon Roof with Electronic Key
When pressing the unlock button on the electronic key for 3 seconds:
□ The windows and moon roof will not open (Default setting)  = Off
□ All the windows and moon roof will open = On| | Dealer only
39. Moon Roof Switch – Auto Operation
Pressing the open/close switch will automatically open or close the moon roof in one motion:
□ Off
□ On (Default setting)| | Dealer only
40. Interior Light
The interior light will illuminate when Power is switched to Off:
□ Off
□ On (Default setting)| | Dealer only
41. Illumination of the Interior Cabin Light when Unlocking Door
When using the electronic or mechanical key to unlock the door:
□ The cabin light will not illuminate = Off
□ The cabin light will illuminate (Default setting) = On| | Dealer only
42.  Illumination of the Interior Cabin Light when Approaching the Vehicle
When approaching the vehicle with the electronic key:
□ The cabin light will not illuminate = Off
□ The cabin light will illuminate (Default setting) = On| | Dealer only
43. Illumination of the Outer Foot Lights when Approaching the Vehicle
When approaching the vehicle with the electronic key:
□ The outer foot lights will not illuminate = Off
□ The outer foot lights will illuminate (Default setting) = On| | Dealer only
44. Illumination of the Outer Foot Lights when Unlocking Door
When unlocking the vehicle with the electronic key:
□ The outer foot lights will not illuminate = Off
□ The outer foot lights will illuminate (Default setting) = On| | Dealer only
45. Driver Seat Belt Reminder
When the vehicle reaches 12 mph:
□ The driver seat belt reminder will not beep = Off
□ The driver seat belt reminder will beep (Default setting) = On| | Dealer only
46. Front Passenger Seat Belt Reminder
When the vehicle reaches 12 mph:
□ The passenger seat belt reminder will not beep = Off
□ The passenger seat belt reminder will beep (Default setting) = On| | Dealer only
47. Rear Right Passenger Seat Belt Reminder
When the vehicle reaches 12 mph:
□ The passenger seat belt reminder will not beep = Off
□ The passenger seat belt reminder will beep (Default setting) = On| | Dealer only
48. Rear Left Passenger Seat Belt Reminder
When the vehicle reaches 12 mph:
□ The passenger seat belt reminder will not beep = Off
□ The passenger seat belt reminder will beep (Default setting) = On| | Dealer only
49. Rear Center Seat Belt Reminder
When the vehicle reaches 12 mph:
□ The passenger seat belt reminder will not beep = Off
□ The passenger seat belt reminder will beep (Default setting) = On| | Dealer only
50. Lane Change Signal Flashes
When the turn signal lever is pushed partway to signal a lane change, the signal will flash:
□ Of f
□ 3 times (Default setting)
□ 4 times
□ 5 times
□ 6 times
□ 7 times| | Dealer only
51. Lane Change Flasher Volume
The turn signal volume can be programmed:
□ Loud
□ Medium (Default setting)
□ Soft| | Dealer only
52. Reverse Beep Alert
When the vehicle is shifted into Reverse:
□ The alert will beep continuously (Default setting) = Continuous
□ The alert will beep once = Once| | Dealer only
53. Instrument Dimming Sensitivity
Level of light at which the instrument panel lights will dim:| | Dealer only
54. Instrument Restore Sensitivity
Level of light at which the instrument panel lights will brighten:| | Dealer only
55.  Headlight Illumination Linked to Windshield Wiper
If wipers are used in daylight with headlight switch in Auto mode, the headlights will turn on automatically:
□ Off
□ On (Default setting)| | Dealer only
56. Efficient Ventilation Mode
When the front defogger is activated:
□ It will automatically engage the air conditioner compressor to blow air onto the windshield (Default setting) = On
□ It will automatically blow air onto the windshield without engaging the air conditioner compressor = Off| | Dealer only
57. Linking Seat Position Memory with Door Unlock
When Smart Access is used to unlock the doors, seat position memory recall will function as follows:
□ The driver seat will move to memory position when the driver door is unlocked (Default setting) = Driver’s Door
□ The driver seat will move to memory position when any door is unlocked = Any Door| | Dealer only
58. Time Lapse Before Unlocking Doors
The time lapse between locking a door, and being able to unlock it by gripping the driver’s door handle:
□ Off
□ 1.5 seconds
□ 2 seconds (Default setting)

59. Opening Trunk Using Kick Sensor
Placing foot under the center area of the rear bumper while carrying the electronic key
will open the trunk:

60. Driver’s Seat Massage
The intensity of the front seat massage system can be adjusted to:
□ Light pressure (Default setting)

61. Passenger’s Seat Massage
The intensity of the front seat massage system can be adjusted to:

62.  Automatic Rear Sunshade
The rear sunshade automatically lowers when shift lever is shifted into Reverse:

63. Rear Sunshade Reverse Timer*
When option #62 is on, the rear sunshade will automatically lower in:
□ 0.7 seconds (Default setting)
□ 1.2 seconds
□ 0.9 seconds

64. Automatic Mirror Fold and Extend Select when mirrors should fold and extend:
□ Fold linked with Power switch
