NOTES ON OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:

These operating instructions are designed to enable you to use your tool safely and efficiently.

  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the bolt cutter.
  • Wear safety glasses or goggles, or a face shield (with safety glasses or goggles) and protective gloves when using bolt cutter.
  • Choose the proper bolt cutter for the job. Bolt cutters are designed for a specific type, hardness, and size of material.
  • Correctly take precautionary measures to avoid possible injury from flying metal pieces.
  • Always check that all mounting bolts and nuts are securely tightened before using. If any parts are missing, do not use this product until the missing parts are replaced. When servicing, use only identical replacement parts. Use of any other parts may create  a hazard or cause product damage.
  • Lubricate cutter and moving parts daily if heavily used.
  • Do not use cutters which are cracked, broken or loose.
  • Do not hammer on cutting tools or extend the handle length to achieve greater cutting power.
  • Do not expose this product to excessive heat.
  • Do not use grip handles for jobs requiring insulated handles. The grips do not protect against electric shock.

FEATURES

  • Cutting capacities (max. diameter):
    Soft wire (HC<25): 01/4 inch (06mm)
    Hard wire (HC<40): 07/32 inch (05mm) (Note: Locks are not recommended for cutting! Do not exceed the maximum cutting capacity of the cutter. This can damage the tool and may cause injury!)

  • Drop forged chrome molybdenum steel jaw with sandblasting treatment for durability

  • Cutting edges additionally induction-hardened, cutting edge hardness approx. 56-60 HC

  • By combining handles with hinges that transfer power to the jaw and cutting blades, compound cutting action generates more cutting force to cut through hard materials

  • The ergonomic handles help to prevent hand fatigue during prolonged use

  • Suitable for cutting rods, bolts, rivets, wires, cables and chains

OPERATION:

STEP 1: Always check that all mounting bolts and nuts are securely tightened before using. If any parts are missing, do not use this product until the missing parts are replaced.
STEP 2: Insert the material to be cut into the cutting edges as close as possible to the joint.
(Tip: Do not exceed the maximum cutting capacity of the cutter.)
STEP 3: Firmly press the two handles together.

CLEAN AND MAINTENANCE:

  • Do not leave water or dirt on your tools, which are easy to cause them to rust. So when you have finished using your bolt cutters, wipe them down with a clean towel, make sure they are clean and dry, and coat them with oil to prevent bolt cutters from  rusting.
  • Regularly check whether all parts are in good condition. If any parts are damaged or worn, replace them immediately. Do not use a damaged or worn part, as it may break or malfunction during use.
  • Store bolt cutters in a dry and clean place. Avoid exposing them to moisture or extreme tempera­ tures.
