Product Information

The Great Walk-Walker Tracker is a fitness tracking program that allows users to track their steps and participate in challenges. With the option to track steps automatically using a smartphone or wearable device, users can easily monitor their activity levels and compete with others. The program also offers the ability to create or join teams for collaborative challenges.

Product Usage Instructions

Getting Started

  1. Go to Lutron.com/greatwalk
  2. Click “Sign Up Today”
  3. Fill in all fields and click “Register Now”
  4. Answer additional questions, then click “Finish”
  5. Email Verification: Follow the prompt at the top of the screen to complete email verification. This step is recommended but not required to get started.

App Installation (optional)

  1. From your phone’s app store, search for “Walker Tracker” Follow prompts to download and log in using the same username and password from registration
  2. Select the desired data source from the prompts and follow the directions to pair
  3. Pairing Help: If you need assistance with pairing, visit support.walkertracker.com for help articles. For help with the operation of your wearable device, refer to its user manual.

Creating / Joining a Team

  1. Tap Create a Team at the bottom of the screen
  2. Enter your team’s name and tap Create
  3. Notify your teammates via email, text, or chat that a team has been created and encourage them to register/join using this guide

Making an Entry

Note: If you have paired Apple Health, Google Fit, or a wearable device, your steps from walking, running, or hiking will automatically record in the background. Make sure to have your device with you during such activities or your steps won’t register. For wearables, remember to open its associated app at least once a day to allow the data to sync with Walker Tracker. Data can take up to 5 minutes to be reflected.

Using a Web Browser (Lutron.com/greatwalk )

  1. Click My Dashboard in the left column
  2. Click Add Entry in the upper right corner
  3. Enter the number of steps or use the activity converter, then scroll down and click SAVE

Using the App

  1. Tap the + icon in the lower left corner
  2. Tap the + icon in the lower right corner
  3. Enter the number of steps, then click Add
  4. If you’d like to convert a different sport or activity into steps, click Activity Converter

FAQ

What if I don’t have a smartphone?

If you don’t have a smartphone, you can make all entries from a computer web browser. Visit Lutron.com/greatwalk to make entries.

What if Apple Health or Google Fit isn’t showing any data?

If you are experiencing technical issues with Apple Health or Google Fit, please contact support@walkertracker.com for technical support. If you are unable to resolve the issue, you can also email wellness@lutron.com for further assistance.

What if I forgot to carry my phone or wearable device during a walk, run, or hike?

If you forget to carry your phone or wearable device during an activity, you can use the activity converter in the app to select the most appropriate activity from the list and enter the requested data to estimate and save your steps.

The Great Walk-Walker Tracker Setup Guide

Welcome to the Lutron Great Walk Challenge. In the spirit of continuous improvement, we will be making use of a tool called Walker Tracker to manage registration, participation, and teams. This tool not only helps us better manage teams, but introduces features such as an activity converter, various themes, and a progress map to make the campaign more engaging and fun. There is also a support feature accessible via support@walkertracker.com. Please use this whenever possible to resolve technical challenges.
Because this is a pilot program, we are asking for your feedback to improve the experience and develop FAQs. Please send feedback to wellness@lutron.com.

Getting Started

  1.  Go to Lutron.com/greatwalk
  2. Click “Sign Up Today”
  3. Fill in all fields and click “Register Now”
  4. Answer additional questions, then click “Finish”
    • Follow the prompt at. the top of the screen to complete the email verification. This step is recommended, but not required to get started.

Note: You have the option to track your steps automatically with your smartphone or wearable device. Continue to “App Installation” for instructions. If you do not wish to use the app, skip ahead to “Creating/Joining a Team”.

To compete in the challenge, you will need to create or join a team. Note that, once a team is created, it will remain in Walker Tracker for future challenges!

  1. Joining an Existing Team:

  * Click on “My Dashboard” in the left column
  * Scroll down to the bottom right and select “View Teams” under the section labeled “My Team”.
  * Find your team in the list and click “Join”. Note there are multiple pages of teams. You may need to use the arrow buttons to find yours.
2. Using the app:

  * Find your team, tap on it, then tap “Join Team” in the upper right

  * Ensure “All Members” is checked and click “NEXT”
  * Select “No, skip this step” and click “NEXT”
  * Verify the information and click “SUBMIT”
  * Notify your teammates via email, text, or chat that a team has been created and encourage them to register/join using this guide.

  * Tap at the bottom of the screen
