  3. Arrange the top, bottom and side panels standing on edge with the front edge on the floor.
    • The cabineos, the white connectors embedded in the top and bottom panels, should face outward.
  4. Use a drill with the provided cabineo tool to secure the top and bottom panels to the side panels.
  5. Attach the Bottom side trim pieces using two (2) of the #8 x 1-1/4″ screws. One side is pilot drilled for the #8 screws, and one end is pre-drilled for a dowel. The pre-drilled end should face the floor.

  6. Locate and lay out the Front, back, side, and center brace frame pieces in the large hardware box. Cut the zip ties holding the frame pieces together.
    • DO NOT cut the zip tie through the hole on the leg extension arm on the side frame pieces. This prevents the arm from falling into the hardware. It is extremely difficult to retrieve if it falls in.
    • The front and back frame pieces are identical.
    • Twin beds will not have the center brace.
  7. Locate the three (3) lengths (45mm, 60mm, and 80mm) of 8 mm bolts, lock nuts, and front plates in the bed frame hardware kit, and the headboard.
  8. Use four (4) of the 60mm long 8mm bolts, 4 lock nuts, and one of the front plates to loosely connect the center brace to the front bed frame piece.
  9. Use two (2) of the 45mm length, two (2) of the 60mm length bolts, two (2) lock nuts, and 1 plate to loosely connect the front frame piece to each of the side frame pieces at the ends with the articulating legs..
    • The tabs on the frame sides are pre-threaded for the 45mm bolts.
  10. Use four (4) 60mm bolts through the headboard to connect the center brace to the back frame piece and loosely fasten using four (4) lock nuts.
    • Two (2) 80mm bolts, and two 60mm bolts will be used though each end of the headboard. Use two (2) lock nuts to fasten the 80mm bolts. The tabs on the frame sides are pre-threaded for the 60mm bolts.
  11. Fully tighten all bolts. Pay close attention that the bed frame stays square as you tighten the bolts.
  12. Lay out the face panels in front of the assembled cabinet so that the long edge of each panel is butted up against the other and the corners are flush together.
    • The pre-drilled holes for the handles should be positioned along the center line near what will be the front of the bed when it is open.
  13. Set the assembled frame on top of the face panels.

  17. Work your way around the bed, securing the corners and ends of the center brace with the gold 1-3/4″ wood screws, making sure the frame stays centered in the face panels.
  18. Once all corners and the ends of the center brace are secured, finish securing the face panels using a screw at each through hold in the bed frame.
  19. Remove the bolt from the side of the leg bracket and install the legs on each side using the same bolt to secure them.
  20. Remove the bolts from the side brackets in the bed cabinet and set them in the bed frame/face panel assembly.
  21. Place the front bottom trim piece under the headboard end of the bed frame so that the bottom protrudes from the bottom of the bed frame about 1”, the pre-drilled dowel holes are exposed on both sides, and it is roughly centered side to side.
    • Insert the dowels into the holes in the front bottom trim.
  22. With the help of another person, lift the bed cabinet over the bed frame and set it down, aligning the dowel holes in the side of the cabinet slide over the dowels in the front bottom trim.

  28. Install the top back panel and secure using the embedded cabineos.
  29. Stand the bed up. Make sure to lift both the bed cabinet and the face panel/frame assembly. Install the bottom back panel and secure it using the embedded cabineos.
