Product Usage Instructions

  • Indications
    • The walker can be used to assist older people in walking and shopping.
  • Assembly
    • The walker comes folded and fully assembled except for the front wheels.
  • Wheel Locking
    • To lock the wheels, operate the lever under the handrest. Release the lever to unlock the wheels.
  • Use of the Brake
    • The walker has brakes on the rear wheels. To activate the brakes, pull the lever under the handrest.
    • Release the lever to release the brakes. For longer periods of braking, pull the lever to the left.
  • Brake Adjustment
    • If you feel that the locking of the brakes is not correct, you can adjust the brake force.
    • With the brake unlocked, turn the adjustment knob on the left-hand wheel anticlockwise to loosen the tension and clockwise to tighten it.
  • Tips and Precautions
    • Always keep a part of your body, such as your toes, inside the rollator frame.
    • When standing up from a seated position, push yourself up from the seat instead of pulling on the handlebars of the rollator.
    • Apply the brakes before sitting down and make sure that the brake is applied before getting up to use the rollator again.
    • Take short steps to turn and keep your hips parallel to the front bar of the rollator.
    • Avoid turning your body to the opposite side of the rollator.
    • Do not sit in the rollator or use it as a temporary wheelchair if your rollator is not designed for this purpose, as it may tip over and cause injury.
    • Remember that this product must be used on flat and smooth surfaces.

INDICATIONS

ASSEMBLY

  • The walker comes folded and fully assembled except for the front wheels.
  • To unfold, turn the trolley upside down, leaving the wheels facing upwards.
  • There is a folding lever on the right-hand side. Release the lock or open the frame.
  • Turn the walker over again, leaving the wheels on the ground, and press the seat until it fits into the side guides (black plastic parts).
  • Lift the backrest and secure it in position with the two latches, one on each side of the walker.
  • To fit the front wheels, simply snap the front wheels into the frame so that the chassis flanges hold the wheel securely. To remove them, you will need to press the tabs while pulling the wheels off.

WHEEL LOCKING

  • The front wheels can be used in three positions: free movement, 360° swivel, locked movement at 90° swivel and completely fixed (straight wheel).

USE OF THE BRAKE

  • The walker has brakes on the rear wheels which are operated employing a lever under the handrest.
  • When the lever is operated, the wheels are locked and released when the lever is released.
  • When it is necessary to keep the walker braked for a longer period, pull the lever under the handrest to the left.

BRAKE ADJUSTMENT

  • It is possible to adjust the brake force if you feel that the locking is not correct.
  • To do this, with the brake unlocked, turn the adjustment knob on the left-hand wheel anticlockwise to loosen the tension and anticlockwise to tighten it.
