Assembly Instructions
Step 1: Connecting the Lower Horizontal with the Front Leg
- Place the lower horizontal and the front leg together.
- Secure the two parts using 2 M8x65 hexagon screws and M8 nuts.
Refer to Figure 3 for guidance.
Step 2: Attaching Other Components
Follow the assembly instructions provided in Figures 2, 5, 6, and 7 to attach the remaining components of the exercise bench.

Intended use:
The Sport-Thieme multifunctional exercise bench is designed for a wide range
of exercises, including press-ups in various grip positions, dips and ab
crunches. It must not be used for any other purpose, as that could compromise
safety and render the warranty void.

- Maximum load: 150 kg
Warnings!
- Ensure this product is used indoors only.
- Do not overload the exercise bench.
- Do not handle the equipment incorrectly as there is a danger of tipping over.
- Any contact with chemicals, especially acids, must be avoided at all costs.
- Avoid any sharp edges as these could damage the surface.
- Store in a closed room at a temperature of no less than 15°C and humidity of no more than 65%.
Assembly
- Tools required: spanner and Allen key

- Wall/ceiling mounting:
Before assembling the product, please check the wall/ceiling it will be attached to. It should be a solid load-bearing wall/ceiling (solid brick, lime sandstone, reinforced concrete or wooden beams), which can safely withstand the tensile forces of the fixings. Take care not to drill holes into any structurally load-bearing parts of the building.
If you are not sure the wall/ceiling will withstand these forces, please consult a structural engineer.

Attach the front leg and base ② to the bottom bar ① using two M8×65 hexagon- socket bolts ⑩ and M8 nuts ⑪, as shown above (figure 3).
Place the rear base ⑥ next to the bottom bar ①, as shown above (figure 4). Then put the see-saw ④ on top of both parts and insert the post ③ through the see-saw ④, (see figure 4). Connect the bottom bar ①, post ③ and rear base ⑥ using the two M8×80 hexagon-socket bolts ⑫ and M8 nuts ⑪.
Next, attach the top bar ⑤ to the post using two M8×65 hexagon-socket bolts ⑩ and M8 nuts ⑪, as shown above (figure 5). Then attach the top bar ⑤ to the front leg and base ② by inserting two M8×20 hexagon-socket bolts ⑨ through the top bar ⑤ and securing them with two nuts ⑪.
The next step is to attach the joint ⑦ to the top bar ⑤ by inserting two M8×20
hexagon-socket bolts ⑨ through the pre-drilled holes. Then place the joint ⑦
over the bolts and tighten with two M8 nuts. Then attach the see-saw ④ to the
joint ⑦.
Finally, make sure all the bolts are tight. You can now put the seat pads on
the top bar and fix them in the desired positions using the pegs ⑬. Attach the
leg pads to the see-saw ④ – these are designed to support pull-ups, dips and
similar exercises. You can also attach weight plates to the relevant side pegs
(on the see-saw) for increased support during these exercises.
A handle can be attached to the exercise bench, by inserting two pegs through the holes on the post at your preferred height (see figure 7).
Maintenance and care
Regular inspection:
- Perform a visual inspection regularly.
- Tighten the bolt connections routinely.
- Inspect the equipment for any damage and replace worn parts.
- Check the condition of the padded/textile elements, as use may cause wear.
- Check the rubber caps/feet from time to time, as regular use may cause them to wear out and no longer be fit for purpose.
