Assembly

Preparing the installation site

The manufacturer recommends preparing a foundation pit with a dimension of 3,000×4,000×400 mm. Fill the bottom of the pit with compacted, crushed stone to a level of 100 mm. It is essential to pour the concrete using reinforced steel mesh. When preparing the installation site and planning its location, please take into account that the slide should be facing a north-easterly direction or be partially in the shade of trees, as its surface may get too hot otherwise.

Foundation

The Sport-Thieme water slide is to be installed on a concrete foundation with the water basin being at least 300 mm deep and 1,500 mm wide to either side of the slide’s exit point. Once the slide has been assembled, it should be mounted to the foundation. The manufacturer recommends using high-performance (hot-dip galvanised) HSA-F wedge anchors (M12×137) for everyday static loads in uncracked concrete.

Foundation

Assembling the slide

Step 1
Connect the two parts of the slide using the bolts supplied.
Step 2
Place the two handrails in the holes provided and fasten with the corresponding washers and nuts.
Step 3
Set the slide up at its intended location and attach it to the foundation using the bolt anchors.

The product has to be secured and/or tied down so that it will not move during transport.

Storage
  • Do not damage the packaging.
