Device Description:
Wet marking cart with electric pump system. The suction or the suspension for
the „Champ“ wet marking cart is generated by an electric pump and is equipped
with an automatic shutdown when the operating lever is closed. The power is
generated by an electric pump (12V, 2.1 A) and has a flow rate of 2.6 l / min.
The pump pressure is 4.8 bar. The pump can be conveniently operated via an
ON/OFF switch on the guide spar. The spraying device is arranged at the front
in the field of view and can be easily operated by a hand lever on the guide
spar. The line width is adjustable to 50 to 120 mm. The cart has 1 plastic
water tank with a capacity of 13 litres with its own regulating or outlet
stopcock and can be easily removed from the frame for emptying or cleaning.

Installation instructions or commissioning:
Then first, as shown, insert the guide bar ② into the square frame ③ and fasten it at the desired height by means of a knurled screw. Check whether the ON/OFF switch b on the guide bar is set to OFF. The electric pump and the battery are already installed in such a way that norther work is necessary for this. The battery must be charged. Loosen the tension belt of the container and remove the water canister. Now open the screw cap of the water container, fill it with water and close it again with the screw cap and put the canister back on the designated place. Fill the second canister with a mixture of paint and water. You also have the option of filling the paint / water mixture into both canisters.
Now you have a complete canister with lawn marker paint for your lining work and a canister with water for subsequent cleaning at your disposal. Leave the ball stopcocks m closed until you are at the place of use with the device. At the place of use, open the stopcocks and press the switch on the guide bar.
-
Please only open the ball stopcock from the water canister for the first spray attempt!!
The integrated pressure switch in the pump is intended as a safety device for emergency shutdown, please always turn off the pump with prolonged idling via the ON/OFF switch on the guide bar. A dry run must not exceed 5 min. -
For the use and charging of the pump and battery, please refer to the operating instructions listed below or the operating instructions of the power supply
-
Charge the AKKU for at least 72 hours before using the pump for the first time!
Completion and cleaning or maintenance of the device:
After the work has been finished:
-
1Turn the ON/off switch on the guide bar on OFF.
-
Turn off the quick coupling on the paint mixture and leave only the water can open!
-
Switch the ON/OFF switch on the guide spar to ON and leave the remaining water in the water canister (if it is empty, please refill about 1 litter of water) please continue to convey until only clean water splashes out of the nozzle!
This is important so that no paint settles inside the hoses, the nozzle and the pump and clogs them!! -
Set the ON/OFF switch on the guide bar back to OFF
-
Now unscrew the flat jet nozzle and rinse it under water. If the paint has already set, place the nozzle in a container of water overnight and let it soak.
-
In case of low power in the battery, please charge with the attached charging cable: (Please note the exact instructions on page 6!!!)
- Fit out the control current connector (Fig. 4)
- Charge the battery with the included power supply:
- Connect the power supply to a mains socket (red indicator light appears)
- Connect adapter of the power supply to the battery (charging current socket on the adjacent image) (red indicator light goes out, charging starts)
- When the final charging voltage is reached, the display lights again and now emits only a small amount of current for a trickle charge
- Disconnecting the charger from the battery
With these cleaning instructions, the full functionality of the cart is
maintained until the next use!!
Note:
These canisters are not airtight, please empty the remains of the paint
mixture again and again, otherwise the paint will dry and lumps can clog the
hoses etc.!
Application and operating instructions Electric pump
Preparation / safety instructions:
All preparation and maintenance work may only be carried out when the motor is
at a standstill. Before starting or servicing, the motor must be disconnected
from the power supply with all poles. Make sure that unintentional switching
on is not possible or disconnect the electrical coupling on the guide bar.
Please make sure that the hoses and cables are not overloaded. Suction and
pressure hoses should have the shortest possible distances.
- The ambient temperature should not be below 0°C and during operation it should not be higher than +40°C.
- The pump may only be used when it is lying down. Conversion of the pump as well as changing the installation of the pump is not allowed. All safety instructions and warranty claims are thus forfeited and the functional capabilities of the wet marking cart will be impaired.
- Foreign bodies can clog the membranes or valves. This decreases the pumping capacity. To avoid this, the water container, the paint container as well as the intake hoses should always be thoroughly cleaned after each use and be examined for foreign bodies, lumps or the like!
Electrical Connection & Cabling
- Type: 2/3 piston diaphragm pump
- Dry run: up to max. 5 min.
- Pump pressure: max. 4.8 bar
- Output: max. 2.6 l/min.
- Suction lift: pre-filled 5 m
- Pressure switch: Triggering pressure up to 8.6 bar
- Liquid temp.: +1 to +60 °
- Rotation speed: 690 rev/min.
- Engine type: Electric motor

Respect: The values for pressure height and conveying capacity are maximum values. In this practice, these are difficult to achieve. Correct calculation based on the pump characteristic curve. Delivery pressure and quantity depend on each other. The tighter the flow, the higher the pressure
Operation
-
If vibrations, irregular running or noise occur during operation, or the pump does not pump, take the pump out of operation immediately to avoid damage. The ball stopcock on the water tank must be open and the suction hose must be immersed in the lawn marking paint to be pumped.
An event. Dry running of the pump must not exceed up to 5 min. last! -
The liquid must not contain foreign objects. If so, they must be eliminated.
-
Before EACH start-up, check the tightness of the connections of the pump in general, the electrical cables, as well as the tight fit of all housing and pump and device screws.
-
Make sure that the pump is always protected from contamination with the enclosed dirt cover. Do not start the device in rain or snow!
Storage
- All start-up, decommissioning and maintenance work must be carried out with the machine switched off and with the voltage source disconnected.
- Disconnect the motor from the voltage source with all poles
- Check that no power is connected!
- Check again whether the hoses or the pump interior is free of paint and disconnect the suction hoses.
- The pump/battery must be stored clean, dry, dust-free and frost-free.
