Guideline for Connecting to the Network

Download and Installation of the App
Method 1: Scan the QR code provided below to download and install the “Bots lab” app.
Method 2: Search the “Botlab” app from the APP Store or Google Play, download and install the app.

Activate the doorbell
Remove the protective film from the main and auxiliary lenses of the doorbell. Then, press and hold the power button located at the back of the doorbell

After holding and pressing the power button, if the doorbell does not respond, it could be due to a low battery level. Please charge the doorbell before proceeding with installation and use.

Install the indoor signal base station
Plug the indoor signal base station into a wall socket to power it on, then flip and extend the antenna to an appropriate position.

If the indicator light quickly flashes green, this indicates that the device is ready for setup.

Add the Device
Open the Botslab app, click the “Register” button to register a Botslab account. If you already have an account, click the “Login” button, and enter your account and password to log in Method 1

  1. Press and hold the RESET button on the base station for Ss to start network configuration.
  2. After logging in, Bluetooth will automatically search for the base station by default. Once the base station is found, add the device according to the prompts.

When connecting to the network, please make sure that Bluetooth is enabled on the mobile phone and that the WiFi is properly connected

After logging in, click the”+” button on the upper right corner of the homepage, select “Scan” and use your mobile phone to scan the QR code on the doorbell. This will direct you to the network setup page. Follow the prompts to add the doorbell.

After logging in, click the”+” button in the upper right corner of the APP homepage and add the “Botslab Video Doorbell 2 Pro R811” by model .

Installation Guide

Choose the Doorbell Installation Location:

  1. Confirm the monitoring field of view (adjustments can be made through the real-time view on the app). Please ensure the location is suitable before securing the backplate to the wall.
  2. We recommend installing the doorbell at a height of 1.5 meters, though this may vary depending on the specific conditions of your installation environment.
  3. The doorbell should be installed on non-metallic materials to avoid signal interference. We recommend affixing it to the wall next to the door.

Installation of the Doorbell

Method for Installing the Doorbell Backplate:
a. Fixed to the wall with adhesive backing (recommended):

  1. First, clean the installation site to ensure it is flat, smooth, and dust-free.
  2. Peel off the red 3M double-sided tape at the bottom of the backplate, align it according to the orientation on the backplate, and attach it to the door or wall.

Note: The adhesive achieves 1 00% stickiness 24 hours after application.

b. Wall-mounting with screws

  1. Attach the positioning sticker to the wall;
  2. Insert the expansion bolt into the wall at the positioning sticker’s hole position;
  3. Fix the wall backplate with screws.

Note: When the installation angle needs to be inclined, please use the 15-degree mounting bracket.

When securing the doorbell, first engage the lower latch of the wall backplate onto the doorbell. Then, press on the upper half of the doorbell to automatically engage the upper latch.

Doorbell Removal
Before removal, turn off the tamper alarm in the app. Then, with one hand, insert the removal pin into the disassembly hole with moderate force. Use your other hand to hold and remove the doorbell.

Precautions

  1. Avoid installing the doorbell on metal doors or load-bearing walls. Instead, try to position it in an area with an optimal Wi-Fi signal.
  2. The doorbell contains a battery within its main body. Keep it away from heat and fire sources, and refrain from unauthorized disassembly or repairs. If the product gets wet, stop using it immediately.
  3. Although the doorbell supports power bank charging, it’s best to remove the doorbell and bring it indoors for charging in low-temperature environments.
  4. Use a certified 5V power adapter to charge the doorbell to prevent potential damage (Note: adapter must be purchased separately).
  5. If the doorbell is not in use for extended periods, ensure it’s fully charged at least once every 3 months.

The product, if purchased out of China, will be repaired locally within 1 year from the date of purchase. Please contact the local authorized distributor for details.

Non-Warranty Policy for Botslab Smart Camera Products

  • Cannot present valid warranty certificate and purchase invoice.
  • Damages caused by usage, maintenance, and storage which are not performed following the product user manual and damages caused by disassembly and repair which are not authorized by Botslab.
  • Damages which result of force majeure.
  • Normal decoloration and wastage during usage will not be included into warranty service.
