Product Usage Instructions

  1. Power Supply Connection

  2. Connect the VEXT supply to the board’s VEXT terminal. This supply provides power to the 5V voltage regulator.

  3. Connect the global input voltage from an external source to the VIN terminal.

  4. Voltage Regulator Configuration
If necessary, configure the voltage regulator to generate 5V logic levels from the VEXT supply. This step is optional and depends on your specific requirements.

  5. VS Presence LED Configuration
Use the jumper to enable or disable the VS presence LED. This LED indicates the presence of VS supply.

  6. VIN Source Configuration
Use the jumper to configure the desired VIN source for input signals.

Channel Configuration

  • For each channel, connect the individual VIN from an external source to the corresponding input pin terminal.
  • There are two alternative sets of terminals available for VOUT. Choose the appropriate set based on your requirements.
  • If desired, enable the LED option for each output channel.

Global Status Output Configuration
The STATUS Pin provides a global status output. Use the jumper to enable or disable the STATUS Pin LED.

FAQ

  • Q: What is the purpose of the voltage regulator?
The voltage regulator is used to generate 5V logic levels for the inputs.

  • Q: How do I control each input individually?
For individual control, connect the external source to the respective input terminals.

  • Q: How can I enable/disable the LED option for each output channel?
Use the jumper to enable or disable the LED option for each output channel.

  • Q: What does the STATUS Pin do?
The STATUS Pin provides a global status output that can be enabled or disabled using the jumper.
