APERA PH850-FT Ph Meter for Surface Measurements
LabSen electrochemical sensors are premium pH electrodes with manufacturing technology and key components imported from Switzerland. been 373 plastic flat pH electrode adopts a flat membrane and PTFE junction structure. It is suitable for wet solid and semi-solid surfaces, such as paper, skin, textiles and leather. This probe has the following features:
- Anti-corrosion POM (Polyoxymethylene) shafts have good mechanical performance.
- The blue gel inner solution does not flow and will not cause a bubble.
- Long life reference system, has better stability and service life.
- Integrated NTC for measurement of temperature

Usage and Maintenance
- The testing surface needs to be clean and wet, such as wetting the surface of skin or textiles with distilled water.
- Connect BNC & RCA plug to the input on the pH meter.
- When measuring, please unscrew the bottle cap, pull out the electrode and rinse it with deionized/distilled water. After using, please put the electrode back into the bottle and screw tight the cap.
- The electrode’s measuring tip should be soaked in the soaking bottle containing a certain amount of storage solution to keep the membrane hydrated and the junction unblocked. Clean the bottle and replace the storage solution if the storage solution gets turbid and mildewed. The electrode should never be soaked in pure water or buffer solution for long.
- The connector of the electrode should always be clean and dry. If it gets contaminated, please clean it with medical cotton and absolute alcohol and blow dry it to prevent a short circuit of the electrode and slow reaction of the electrode.
- Every pH electrode will eventually age and fail. The typical service life of Apera pH electrodes is 12-24 months depending on the frequency of usage and how well you keep it clean and properly stored. We recommend replacing your electrode every 12-18 months to ensure the best accuracy.
Warranty
We warrant this electrode free from defects in material and workmanship and agree to repair or replace free of charge, at the option of APERA INSTRUMENTS any malfunctioned or damaged product attributable to the responsibility of APERA INSTRUMENTS for a period of six months. The warranty period is the time limit to provide free service for the products purchased by customers, not the service life of the tester or electrodes. This limited warranty does not cover any damages due to: transportation; storage; improper use; failure to follow the product instructions or to perform any preventive maintenance; modifications; combination or use with any products, materials, processes, systems or other matter not provided or authorized in writing by us; unauthorized repair; normal wear and tear; or external causes such as accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control.
