EDID Setup

Step 1 :

1. Unplug the HDBaseT input card from the Matrix Switcher chassis.

2. Adjust the 4-DIP switch settings (DIP1, DIP2, DIP3, DIP4) to the position (0,1,1,1).

3. Connect an HDMI cable from the HDMI port on the HDBaseT input card to the display, ensuring that the HDBaseT port remains connected to the transmitter.

4. Reinsert the HDBaseT input card into the matrix switcher and wait for approximately 15 seconds.

Step 2:

1. Unplug the HDBaseT input card.

2. Configure the 4-pin DIP switch (DIP1, DIP2, DIP3, DIP4) to the position (0,0,0,0).

3. Reinsert the HDBaseT input card into the matrix and disconnect the HDMI cable.

4. The EDID setup is now complete.

PoC DIP Switch on HDBaseT Card

There is a 4-pin black DIP switch on the HDBaseT card which can be used to set up the PoC function as follows:

  • To set PoC to 12V: Have the DIP switches A / B up and C / D down position.
  • To set PoC to 24V: Have the DIP switches A / C down and B / D up position.
  • To turn off the PoC function: Set all 4 switches to the middle position.

Maintenance

Clean this unit with a soft, dry cloth. Never use alcohol, paint thinner, or benzine to clean.

Warranty

If your product does not work properly because of a defect in materials or workmanship, our company (referred to as the warrantor) will, for the length of the period indicated below, provide Parts and Labor (5) Years warranty from the date of original purchase. The warrantor will either repair your product with new or refurbished parts or replace it with a new or refurbished product, at their discretion.

During the Labor limited warranty period, there will be no charge for labor. During the Parts warranty period, there will be no charge for parts. You must mail-in your product during the warranty period. This Limited Warranty is extended only to the original purchaser and only covers products purchased as new. A purchase receipt or other proof of original purchase date is required for Limited Warranty service.

EDID Setup

There is no need to power off the matrix. Instead, unplug the HDBaseT input card from the MatrixSwitcher chassis. Adjust the 4-DIP switch settings (DIP1, DIP2, DIP3, DIP4) to the position (0,1,1,1).Connect an HDMI cable from the HDMI port on the HDBaseT input card to the display, ensuring thatthe HDBaseT port remains connected to the transmitter. Reinsert the HDBaseT input card into the matrix switcher and wait for approximately 15 seconds.

Step 2:

There is a 4-pin black DIP switch on the HDBaseT card which can be used to set up the PoC fucntion as12V, 24V, and PoC function off.

  • To set PoC to 12V, have the DIP switches A / B up and C / D to down position.
  • To set PoC to 24V, have the DIP switches A / C down and B / D to up position.
  • To turn off the PoC function, set the 4 switches to the middle position.

Warranty
If your product does not work properly because of a defect in materials of workmanship, our company(referred to as “the warrantor”) will, for the length of the period indicated as below, “Parts and Labor(5) Years”, which starts with the date of original purchase (“Limited Warranty period”), at its optioneither (a) repair your product with new or refurbished parts, or (b) replace it with a new or a refurbishedproduct. The decision to repair or replace will be made by the warrantor.

Mail-In Service

Limited Warranty Limits and Exclusions

This Limited Warranty ONLY COVERS failures due to defects in material or workmanship and DOES NOT COVER normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage. The Limited Warranty ALSO DOES NOT COVER damages that occurred in shipment, or failures that are caused by
products not supplied by the warrantor, or failures which result from accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, misapplication, alteration, faulty installation, set-up adjustments, miss-adjustment of consumer controls, improper maintenance, power line surge, lightning damage, modification, or service by anyone other than a Factory Service Center or other Authorized Servicer, or damage that is attributed to acts of God.
There are no express warranties except as listed under “Limited Warranty Coverage”. The warrantor is not liable for incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of this product or arising out of any breach of this warranty. (As examples, this excludes damages for lost time, cost of having someone move or re-install an installed unit if applicable, travel to and from the service, loss of or damage to media or images, data or other recorded content. The items listed are not exclusive but are for illustration only). Parts and services, which are not covered by this limited warranty, are your responsibility.
