Installation Instructions

Download the driver from www.displaylink.com/downloads and install it on your host device.
Note: If you are using a Windows system and your host is connected to the internet, the driver will be automatically acquired by the hub. For macOS, it is necessary to download and install the driver first. After installation, run the application and enable the “Automatic app startup” option. -
Optional: connect a USB-C® PD charger to the hub’s USB-C PD port for host charging and to power the hub.

Connect one or two DisplayPort™ monitors to the hub’s DisplayPort port(s), an SD card to the hub’s UHS-II SD port, USB peripherals to the hub’s USB ports, and/or a network cable to the hub’s RJ45 port.

Connect the hub to a USB-C port on the host device, and power on both the host device and all connected devices on the hub.

Access the host device’s graphics configuration program and adjust the resolution, refresh rate, and extend/mirror settings for each monitor according to your preferences.

Troubleshooting Tips
- Ensure that the driver is installed before using the product.
- For macOS, run the Display Link Manager app to activate the hub. Make sure to check on the “Automatic app startup” option in the app. The Display Link Manager app will be available on your macOS after you have finished installing the hub driver.
- The host device may display a warning message requesting the use of the original PD charger or a lower power charging adapter.
- Connect the PD charger to the USB-C charging port, not the USB-C 3.2 Gen2 data port, please refer to the Connection Diagram section.
- Avoid disconnecting the USB-C charger cable while the adapter is in use.
- If you experience display issues, try lowering the video resolution and refresh rate.
- Test cables and peripherals with another device.
- Unplug all cables, reboot or restart all devices, and reconnect the cables.
- Ensure that the white power LED is lit.
