SpecflexTM SH and SHP Flexible Connections are designed to provide a reliable and flexible connection for sprinkler drop systems. These connections are compatible with NFP brackets and are suitable for various applications.

Product Usage Instructions
Pre-Installation
Before installing the SpecflexTM Flexible Connections, please follow these steps:
- Inspect the Specflex sprinkler drop system components for any sign of physical damage. Make sure all components are included and in the proper order.
- Disconnect the inlet nipple and outlet reducer from the flexible hose and check that each sealing gasket is in place properly. Reconnect the outlet reducer to the flexible hose.
- Ensure that both end threads are clean without any damage. Apply PTFE tape to the inlet nipple threads.
Installation
To install the SpecflexTM Flexible Connections, follow these steps:
- Use a pipe wrench to connect the inlet nipple to the branch line. Ensure a secure connection.
- Use a pipe wrench to connect the flexible hose to the inlet nipple. Apply torque within the range of 50 to 58 ft-lbs.
Note: Do not use PTFE tape on the inlet nipple thread to connect to the flexible hose.
