Product Usage Instructions

  1. Prior to installation, ensure all threads are clean and free from burs and debris.
  2. Apply an approved thread sealant to the male threads of the Ball Drip.
  3. Hand-tighten the Ball Drip into the female threads.
  4. Tighten an additional turn using a pipe wrench. Do not over tighten.
  5. CAUTION: Over-tightening may damage the threads and cause valve failure.
  6. Install the Ball Drip in a horizontal position only.
  7. Ensure the water pressure does not exceed 1ft. column of water (water pressure) on the ball check.
  8. The valve opens by force of gravity only.

Installation

Prior to installation, ensure all threads are clean and free from burs and debris. Apply an approved thread sealant and thread into female threads hand- tight. Tighten an additional turn with a pipe wrench. Do not over tighten. Over-tightening may damage the threads and ball drip. Only for use in horizontal position and do not use more than 1ft. column of water (water pressure) on the ball check. Valve opens by force of gravity only.

CAUTION: DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN THREADS. OVERTIGHTENING MAY CAUSE VALVE FAILURE.
