Product Usage Instructions

Tools Required

For safety and ease of installation, it is recommended to use the following tools

• Wrench
• Screwdriver
• Plumber’s tape

Installation Steps

Before starting the installation process, make sure to turn off the water supply.

1. Remove the existing faucet by turning off the water supply and disassembling the valve.
2. Open the faucet handle to relieve water pressure and ensure complete water shut-off
3. Attach the valve body sleeve (A) to the rough valve.
4. Place the double-sided gasket (B) over the valve body sleeve.
5. Install the escutcheon (C) over the gasket and secure it in place.
6. Connect the trim ring extension, O-Ring, and trim ring (D) to the escutcheon.
7. Insert the anti-scald ring (E) into the trim ring extension
8. Attach the handle assembly (F) to the trim ring extension.
9. Test the water temperature by pulling the handle (F) and turning it clockwise and counter-clockwise.

An extension kit is available for the trim. Please contact customer service or refer to the exploded parts page for more information.

1. How do I remove the old faucet?
   Always turn off the water supply before removing the existing faucet or disassembling the valve. Open the faucet handle to relieve water pressure and ensure complete water shut-off.

2. How do I test the water temperature?
   Pull the handle (F) and turn it clockwise and counter-clockwise to test the water temperature.

CAUTION — TIPS FOR REMOVAL OF OLD FAUCET
Always turn water supply OFF before removing existing faucet or disassembling the valve. Open faucet handle to relieve water pressure and
ensure that complete water shut-off has been accomplished

1. Remove and discard valve body dust cover to begin trim installation

2. Install Valve Body Sleeve (A) onto valve body.

3. Install Double-Sided Gasket (B) onto back of Escutcheon (C) as shown.

4. Install both Escutcheon (C) and Gasket (B) over valve onto wall surface.

5. Install Trim Ring Extension, O-Ring, and Trim Ring assembly (D) onto Escutcheon (C). Extension kits are available. Refer to the exploded parts page or call customer service

6. Install Anti-Scald Ring (E) onto valve body threads.
   NOTE : Set water temperature to 100°F before installing the Handle Assembly

7. Ensure red dot is visible and at top of Anti-Scald Ring (E).

8. Remove decorative handle cap and place Handle Assembly (F) onto the cartridge.

9. Insert and tighten the handle screw.

10. Replace decorative handle cap.

11. Pull Handle (F) and turn clockwise and counter-clockwise to test water temperature

12. Installation is complete.
