Information on the operating instructions
These operating instructions enable you to operate the Wöhler RS 400 refrigerant scale safely.
Keep these operating instructions for your information.
The Wöhler RS 400 may only be used by qualified personnel for the intended purpose.
We accept no liability for damage resulting from failure to observe these operating instructions.

Information on Disposal
Electronic equipment does not belong into domestic waste, but must be disposed in accordance with the applicable statutory provisions. You may hand in any defective batteries taken out of the unit to our company as well as to recycling places of public disposal systems or to selling points of new batteries or storage batteries..

General warnings
ATTENTION!
The maximum weight of the scale is 100 kg. Overloading can damage the sensor
and the housing.
ATTENTION!
Clean the scale housing only with water and mild detergents, never with
solvents. Never open the housing.
Do not pull on the spiral cable. Remove the batteries if you are not going to use the scale for a long time to avoid battery fluid leakage.
The batteries are not rechargeable.

Operation

Remove the control unit from the compartment on the underside of the scale.

Place the scale on a stable and level surface.

Press the power button to switch on the scale.
After a short self-test (approx. 2 s) a beep sounds.
The scale is now ready for operation. -
Press the Unit button to select the desired weight unit. (kg, oz, lb)

Press the Zero button to zero the weight display.

Place the refrigerant container centrally on thescale and zero again,
You will now get your information about the weight of the refrigerant (tare) during filling or evacuation of the system. -
Read off the weight when the weight display is stable. “Stable” then appears at the top of the display

When the battery is low, the battery indicator on the control unit display flashes and the weight display may become unstable.
- In this case, replace the batteries.
NOTE!
There are 5 AAA alkaline batteries in the control unit. There are no batteries
in the scale.
- Open the battery compartment on the back of the control unit. Observe the correct polarity when inserting the new batteries.
Warranty and service
Warranty
Every Wöhler RS 400 digital pressure gauge is tested for all functions and only leaves our factory after a detailed quality control.
If used properly, the warranty period for the Wöhler RS 400 pressure gauge is twelve months from the date of sale. Excluded are batteries and damage to the pressure sensor caused by overloading.
The warranty does not apply if repairs and modifications have been carried out on the unit by a third party, not authorized by the manufacturer.
Service
SERVICE is very important to us. That is why we are of course also there for you after the warranty period.
- You send the meter to us, we repair it within a few days and send it to you with our parcel service.
Immediate help is available from our technicians on the phone.
