This operation manual allows you to work safely with the Wohler Camera Head VIS 700 Ø 40 mm. Please keep this manual for your information. The Wohler Camera Head should be employed by professionals for its intended use only. Liability is void for any damages caused by not following this manual.

Intended Use

NOTE!
Useful information

The Wohler pan and tilt camera head is designed for the inspection of pipes, air ducts chimneys, water lines, ventilation lines. It has to be connected to the Wohler VIS 700 camera monitor.

Transport

ATTENTION!
Improper transport can harm the camera head.

Always transport camera head in the case or the provided box in order to prevent damage.

Electronic equipment does not belong into domestic waste, but must be disposed in accordance with the applicable statutory provisions.

Important information

Eye protection

WARNING!
Never point a connected camera head at your own or somebody else’s eyes when the monitor is switched on. The LEDs are extremely bright and can dazzle.

Working environment

CAUTION!
Protect the camera head against oil and acid. Never use the camera head and rod to push obstructions.

Operating Temperature

CAUTION!
Do not use the camera in temperatures above 40°C. High temperatures can damage the camera.

Connecting the camera cable or rod

The pan and tilt miniature camera head is connected via a clutch socket with 5 poles to the cable or the rod.

Plug the camera head and camera cable or the rod together.
Turn the thread clockwise for closing the screw connection tightly for a waterproof connection.

ATTENTION!
Only a tight connection guarantees a waterproof connection.

Controlling the camera head

The pan and tilt camera head is controlled by the joystick of the monitor Wohler VIS 700.

Tilts through 180°

Pans through 360°

To tilt the camera head move the joystick back and forth.
To pan the camera head move the joystick left or right.

Home-Function

The Home function makes it possible to align the camera head in a straight position, so that the camera faces “straight ahead” and the tilt and pan angle display is depicted parallel to the ground below.

To activate the Home function tap the horizon symbol in the display.

Localization

The Wohler camera head Ø 40 mm is equipped with a transmitter coil that transmits signals with a frequency of 9.2 Kho. These signals can be located by the Locator Wohler L 200. This way it is possible to locate the exact position of the came ahead in the pipe system.

NOTE!
The transmitter hast to be activated in the camera menu (setup-menu).

Maintenance

Clean the lens only with a clean damp cloth but never with cleaning agent.

Warranty and Service

Warranty

Each Wohler camera head will be tested in all functions and will leave our factory only after extensive quality control testing. The guarantee period for the meter is 12 months from the sales date, provided that it is used correctly.

This warranty does not cover the freight and packing costs when the device is sent to the factory for repair. Service by non authorized personnel or making modifications camera head voids any warranty.

Service

Wohler has built our reputation on excellence in customer service. Therefore, of course, we are readily available to assist you after the warranty period ends.

Send us the camera head and we will repair it and return it to you with our package service.
Immediate help is provided by our technical staff over the telephone.
