Safety Instructions

SAFEGUARDS FOR USING THE HAND BLENDER

READ THE BASIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS THAT MUST BE FOLLOWED WHEN USING THIS ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE.

1. Using the appliance in an incorrect manner may end up causing personal injuries and damage.
2. Don’t use the appliance apart from its intended purpose. The manufacturer is not responsible for any injury or damage incurred from incorrect usage or handling.
3. Always connect to 220V-240V at 50/60Hz only.
4. Never submerge the motor section or it’s power cable in water or other liquids.
5. Don’t operate the unit with wet or damp hands. Prevent any liquid from entering into the motor section.
6. Never leave the appliance unattended when it is in use. And keep children away from the appliance.
7. Unplug the appliance from the socket before detaching the head to clean or when not in use.
8. Do not touch any moving part of the appliance until it stops completely.
9. The stem of the blender must be handled with care as it is equipped with sharp blades.
10. Don’t use the appliance if the blade guard is damaged.
11. Never allow the appliance to run non-stop for more than a minute. If the appliance is running for 1 minute, allow the motor to cool down for 5 minutes before you use it again.
12. The appliance should not be used by children aged below 8 years or a person with reduced physical, mental, or sensory capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge of the product. Adequate supervision and instructions concerning the use of appliance in a safe way should be given to the person using the appliance.
13. This appliance and cord should be kept out of children’s reach who are less than 8 years old.
14. Cleaning and use maintenance shall not be done by children unless they are older than 8 years and supervised.
15. The appliance is not intended to be operated by the help of external timer or separate remote-control system.
16. A damaged power cord must be replaced by the manufacturer to avoid a hazard.
17. The appliance is intended for indoor use only.

SAFETY POSITIONING THE APPLIANCE

1. Keep the appliance in an upright/standing/vertical position.
2. Place the appliance at the back of the kitchen counter to prevent injuries or damage.
3. Never place the appliance next to hot areas such as gas rings and electric hotplates.
4. You can use the hanging loop provided at the top of the power cord for storage.

POWER CABLE, PLUG AND MAIN SOCKET

1. Make sure that the power cable is fully extended.
2. Never let the power cable or plug to dangle over the edge of table or counter. And make sure to keep it away from hot objects and naked flames.
3. Make regular checks for damaged power cable and plugs and do not use the appliance if it is damaged. Don’t use the appliance if it has been dropped or damaged in any way.
4. Do not operate the appliance with a damaged power cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damage in any manner. For repair, please contact Wipro Vesta Customer Care on 1800-425-1969.
5. Never pull the power cable to unplug the appliance. Instead, hold the plug and pull carefully to prevent any damage to the cord.
6. Always ensure that no situation arises where someone pulls or trips over the power cable and/or any extension cable.

BLENDING

1. Connect the blender head attachment and motor unit in a way that the arrows meet.
2. Twist it to the represented arrow to lock in the motor unit and the stem.
3. Never allow any liquid to get above the joint between the motor unit and stem.
4. Make sure not to use the blender for longer than 60 seconds. The product is intended for a continuous usage of 1 minute. To use it longer, wait for 5 minutes before using the blender again.

CLEANING AND SPECIFICATION

CLEANING

1. Before cleaning make sure that the appliance is unplugged.
2. Don’t wash the attachment or the motor unit in a dishwasher.
3. Always wipe clean the motor unit with a moist cloth. Never wash the motor unit.
4. After the stem is clean, dry it using a soft cloth. Make sure to store the stem and motor unit in an upright position.
