Q-24 DUO Studio Audio Mixer Interface

Please read the instruction manual carefully to fully understand the Erodqct and ensure that it is used regularly, After reading this book, please keep it in a safe place for future reference.

  1. [INPUT
    1 GAIN] Knob Determines the basic volume of channel 1. Adjust the controller to make the corresponding [PEAK] LED (2) flash briefly when singing and playing at the maximum volume

  2. [MIC/LINE 1] [PEAK] Indicator
    It will light up when the input signal is too large. The indicator will light up when the input signal level is lower than 38 of clipping distortion. Set the optimal recording level adjustment [INPUT GAIN] knob so that the [PEAK] indicator flashes briefly at the maximum input volume!

  3. [MIC/LINE 1] [SIG] Indicator
    Itwill light up when there is an input signal. When the input signal level is too low, when the indicator does not light up, adjust the [INPUT GAIN] knob so that the [SIG] indicator light is always on when speaking

  4. [INPUT
    1 HI-Z] Switch Inputimpedance switch(On / Off). When connecting a high- impedance instrument such as an electric quitar or electric bass directly to the [MIC / LINE 1] jack, you can turn on the switch. When the switch is turned on, the instrument and the [MIC / LINE 1] jack can be connected with an unbalanced phone plug.
    Note: To protect your speaker system, please turn off the monitor speakers when turning on/off the
    [INPUT
    1 HI-Z] switch. Itis also a good way to adjust all output level controllers to the minimum gear.
    Failure to observe these precautions will produce loud sudden noises that may damage your equipment and hearin

  5. [MIC/LINEL] Jack
    Used to connect microphones or digital musical instruments. This jack can be connected to both XLR type plugand phone type plug (balanced/unbalanced), MIC (LXR) / LINE (TRS).
    Note: Pharttom power will supply power to the XLR plug which i cannected to the [MIC / LINE 2] Jack

  6. STEREO/MONO switchable switch
    Valid for all MIC signals, when pressed, the signal from the [MIC/LINE 1/2] jack will be output to both channel of the [MAIN OUT L/R jack and the L/R channel of [PHONES] jack.

  7. [IMIC/LINE 2] Jack
    Used’to connsct micraphones,digital musical instruments, electrc guitarsorelecric basses. This jack an be connected to both XLR type plugs and phone-type plugs (balanced/unbalanced)
    Note: Phantom power will be supplied to the XLR plug which is connected to the [MIC / LINE 2] jack

  8. [MIC/LINE 2] [PEAK] Indicator
    It will light up when the input signal is too large. The indicator will light up when the input signal level is lower than 3d8 of clipping distortion. Set the optimal recording level adjustment [INPUT GAIN] knob so that the [PEAK] indicator flashes briefly af the maximum input volume.

  9. [MIC/LINE 2] [SIG] Indicator
    Itwill light up when there is an input signal. When the input signal level is too low, when the indicator does not light up, adjust the [INPUT GAIN] knob 5o that the [SIG] indicator light is always on when speaking

  10. [INPUT 2 GAIN] Knob
    Determines the basic volume of channel 2. Adjust the controller to make the corresponding [PEAK] LED (8) flash briefly when singing and playing at the maximum volume

  11. [MIX] Knob
    Adjust the volume balance of the output signal. The function differs depending on the monitor mode setting.
    Monitoring mode DAW
    Use the [MIX] knob to adjust the input signal level from the [MIC/LINE 1/2] jacks Smooth the output signal level of Q24 Mix L/R from DAW.
    This signal is INPUT 1, 2. If the input level is too high, you can turn the [MIX] knob to the [DAW] side, ifitis oo low, you can adjust it to the (INPUT] side. When the knob s fully turned to the [DAW] side, only the input sound from the DAW software can be heard

  12. [LOOPBACK]Button
    The mainstream media can be synchronized to the Internet, and the sound card recording and network K song can be realized

  13. [OUTPUT] knob
    Adjust the output signal level of the [MAIN OUTPUTI jack

  14. POWER indicator
    When the power is turned on, the indicator will light up. If the power is insufficient, the indicator light will continue to flash. In this case, use a USB power adapter or a USB mobile battery.

  15. [+48V] indicator
    When the [+48V] switch (phantom power) is turned on, the indicator will light up.

  16. [HEADPHONE ] Jack
    Used to connectaa pair of stereo headphones,

  17. [PHONES] Knob
    Adjust the output signal level of the [PHONES] jack.

  18. [High Speed USB 2.0] Port
    Used to connect to computers or i05 devices.
    Note: When connecting to the computer via [USB2.0] port, please observe the following to prevent data damage.
    Note: Please observe the following precautions before connecting or disconnecting the USB cable.
    Quitall application software running on the computer.Set all output level controllers to the minimun value.
    Please wait at least 6 seconds between connecting/disconnecting the USB cable.
    Note: When the sound card is connected to an iOS device, Apple accessories may be required

  19. [Transfer switch]
    Used to select the power supply port of the sound card. To use bus power via the [USB2.0] port, set the switch to the [USB2.0] side. To supply power through the [V DC] port, st the switch to the [5V DC] side

  20. [5V DC) (5V DC) Port
    Used to connect USB power adapter or USB mobile battery. When Q24 connecting to devices that do not have sufficient bus power, such as iPad, use the power supply. (The USB power adapter and USB mobile battery are notincluded when the sound card
    is sold)
    Notice:Please carefully read the safety precautions for the USB power adapter or USB mobile battery.
    Please use a USB power adapter with a 5-pin micro USB plug or a USB mobile battery. Output voltage 4.8V to 5.2V,
    Output current 0.9 A or above, please Use [SV DC] port. Evenif the sound card is connected to the computer, when the switch s set to the [SV DC. You can still use an external power supply through the [5V DC] port. This can avoid power supply problems. For example, i the equipment connected to the sound card shares the same power outlet with the computer, the difference in voltage may cause ground loops. If the power supply to the computer’s USB port is unstable, it will also cause a decrease in sound quality.

  21. [+48V] switch
    Turn on/off phantom power . When the switch is turned on, the phantom power will supply power to the XLR plug connected to the [MIC / LINE 1/2] jack.When using a phantom-powered condenser microphone, turn on the switch,
    Note: When using phantom power, check the following items to prevent noise and damage to the Q22 or connected equipment.Do not connect or disconnect any devices when the phantom power is on. When setting the phantom power to on or off, adjust all output level controls to the minimum When the connected device does not need to provide phantom power to the [MIC/HI-Z 1/2] jack, be sure to turn off the phantom power.
    Note: When the phantom power switch is turned on and off all input/output ports will be muted for a few seconds.

  22. [GROUND] Zero-potential grounding point. If noise or exchange hum occurs when the equipment is connected to a PC or other power supply equipment, a clean earth wire can be connected to this point to reduce and eliminate interference.

  23. [LINEINTPUTS] jack
    Used to connect external equipment audio stereo input. Jack canConnect the RCA pin (unbalanced) plug

  24. [LINE OUTPUT] jack
    Used to connect external equipment or stereo output such as monitor speakers. Jack can Connect the RCA pin (unbalanced) plug,

  25. [MAIN OUTPUT L/R] jack
    The main output signal can be switched in accordance with the function marked by the local switch, microphone sound level: MIC signal controlled by GAIN potentiometer, controlled by MAIN potentiometer.

Connected PC settings: Windows, Mac, windiws?7 or above driver-free installation,You can install [ASIO4ALL] if you have special needs.

  1. As shown below:
    Turn off the return to listening inthe PC volume mixer, otherwise the sound will be repelitive and accompanied by severe distortion.
    Alter closing, click: Apply, and then cick: OK.
    The seting is completed.

  2. Playback settings:
    Find the local device as shown below and set the sample rate and bit width settings in the device volume mixer. If the hardware configuration of the PC s oo low or the PC s too old, please select the appropriate sample rate and bit width Improper settings will cause this sound card to work impropery.

  3. Recording settings:
    Find the local device as shown below and set the sample rate. and bit width settings in the device volume mixer. If the hardware configuration of the PCis oo low or the PC is too old, please select the appropriate sample rate and bitwidth.
    Improper settings will cause this sound card to work improperly.

Fault resolution

Power indicator is off ?
Setting of the transfer switch correct?
When power is not supplied to the device, the power indicator is off. When using an AC adapter, move the switch to the [SV DC] jack, and move the switch to the [USB 2.0 jack to provide bus power (computer only).
The power indicator blinks continuously
If the power is insufficient, the indicator light will continue to flash. Move the switch to the [V DC} jack, and then use the USB power adapter or USB mobile battery to supply power.
Confirm whether the correct USB cable is used Be sure to use the included USB cable.

No sound
Confirm whether the correct USB cable is used. Be sure to use the included USB cable.
Is the volume control of this device set to the correct level?
Confirm the [OUTPUT] knob and [PHONES] knob.
Are the microphone and monitor speakers properly connected to the device?
Please refer to the “Manual” to confirm the correctness of the connection.
Is the power switch of the monitor speaker turned on?
Make sure the switch of the monitor speakers is turned on.
Abnormal sound (noise, interruption or distortion) Does the computer meet the system requirements?
Confirm system requirements. The PC operating system is too old, reconfigure the PC operating system. Check whether the recording level is overloaded, it is recommended to set the recording level at OdB (OdB= IV).
Are you recording or playing long continuous audio?
The computer’s audio data processing capability depends on many factors, including CPU speed and access to external devices, reducing the audio track and then checking the sound again.
Is the microphone properly connected to the device?
Connect the microphone to the device with an XLR type plug.
If you use a phone plug, the volume may be insufficient.
(TRS is only used for LINE input)
