Please read the instruction manual carefully to fully understand the product and ensure that it is used regularly. After reading this book, please keep it in a safe place for future reference.

[INPUT 1 HI-Z] Switch

Input impedance switch(On / Off ). When connecting a high-impedance instrument such as an electric guitar or electric bass directly to the [MIC/ LINE lJ jack , you can turn on the switch. When the switch is turned on, the instrument and the (MIC/ LINE l] jack can be connected with an unbalancec phone plug.

Note : To protect your speaker system, please turn off the monitor speakers when turning on/ off the [INPUT 1 HI-Z] switch. lt is also a good way to adjust all output level controllers to the minimum gear. Failure to observe these precautions will produce loud sudden noises that may damage your equipment and hearing.

[MIC/LINE 1] Jack
Used to connect microphones or digital musical instruments. This jack can be connected to both XLR type plug and phone type plug (balanced/unbalanced), MIC (LXR) / LINE (TRS). Note: Phantom power will supply power to the XLR plug which is connected to the [MIC/LINE 2] Jack.

[MIC/LINE 2] Jack
Used to connect microphones, digital musical instruments, electric guitars or electric basses. This jack can be connected to both XLR type plugs and phone-type plugs (balancec/unbalanced). Note: Phantom power will be supplied to the XLR plug which is connected to the (MIC/ LINE 2] jack.

Supervisory signal selection switch

When the button switch pops up, the monitoring signal is mixed with the signal returned by the PC after controlling the main volume, without monitoring the direct signal of the host. When the button switch is pressed, it can monitor the direct signal of the host+the signal returned by the PC.

(HEADPHONE ) Jack
Used to connect a pair of stereo headphones.

[INPUT 1 GAIN] Knob
Determines the basic volume of channel 1. Adjust the controller to make the corresponding [PE AK] LED (2) flash briefly when singing and playing at the maximum volume.

[INPUT 2 GAIN] Knob
Detenmines the basic volume of channel 2. Adjust the controller to make the corresponding (PE AK] LED (8) flash briefly when singing and playing at the maximum volume.

[OUTPlJT) knob
Adjust the output signal level of the [MAIN OUTPUT J jack.

[PHONES] Knob
Adjust the output signal level of the (PHONES] jack.

POWER indicator
When the power is tumec on, the indicator will light up. If the power is insufficient, the indicator light will continue to ffash. In this case, use a USB power adapter or a USB mobile battery.

[MIC/UNE 1] [PE AK] Indicator
It will light up when the input signal is too large. The indicator will light up when the input signal level is lower than 3dB of clipping distor lion. Set the optimal recording level adjustment [INPUT GAIN] knob so that the (PE AK] indicator flashes briefly at the maximum input volume.

[MIC/LINE 1] [SIG] Indicator
lt will light up when there is an input signal. When the input signal level is too low, when the indicator does not light up, adjust the [INPUT GAIN] knob so that the [SIG] indicator light is always on when speaking.

MIC/UNE 2] [PE AK] Indicator
t will light up when the input signal is too large. The indicator will light up when the input signal level is lower than 3dB of clipping distor tion. Set the optimal recording level adjustment [INPUT GAIN] knob so that the [PE AKJ indicator flashes briefly at the maximum input volume.

[MIC/UNE 2] [PE AK] Indicator
lt will light up when the input signal is too large. The indicator will light up when the input signal level is lower than 3dB of clipping distor tion. Set the optimal recording level adjustment
[INPUT GAIN] knob so that the [PE AKJ indicator flashes briefly at the maximum input volume.

[MIC/UNE 2] [SIG] Indicator
It will light up when there is an input signal. When the input signal level is too low, when the indicator does not light up, adjust the [INPUT GAIN] knob so that the [SIG] indicator light is always on when speaking.

16 [ +4BV] touch switch
Turn on/off phantom power . When the switch is turnec on, the phantom power will supplypower to the XLR plug connected to the [MIC/ LINE 1/2] jack. When using a phantompowered condenser microphone, turn on the switch.
Note : When using phantom power, check the following items to prevent noise and damage to the Q-16 or connected equipment. Do not connect or disconnect any devices when the phantom power is on. When setting the phantom power ta on or off, adjust all output level controls to the minimum. When the connected device does not need to provide phantom power to the (MIC/HJ-Z 1/2] jack, be sure to turn off the phantom power.
Note : When the phantom power switch is turned on and off, all input/output ports will be
muted for a few seconds.

Connection diagram

When the sound recording card is connected to the mobile phone, some mobile phones cannot power the sound card normally Or if the recording sound card cannot work normally, you need to use an ada pter or a Portable charger to power the recording sound card.

Connected PC settings: Windows, Mac, windiws7 or above driver-free installation, You can Install [ASIO4ALLJ If you have special needs.

  • Confirm that the sound card is connected to the computer and selec,1 lhe sound card driver name. Sound card driver name: TEYUN
  1. As shown below
Turn off the return to listening in the PC volume mixer, otherwise the sound will be repetitive and accompanied by severe distortion. After closing, click: Apply, and ttien click: OK. Ttie setting is completed.

  2. Playback settings
Find the local device as shown below and set the sample rate and bit width settings in the device volume mixer. If the hardware configuration of the PC is too low or the PC is too old, please select the appropriate sample rate and bit width. Improper settings will cause this sound card to work improperly.

  3. Recording settings
Find the local device as shown below and set the sample rate and bit width settings in the device volume mixer. If the hardware configuralion oi the PC is too low or the PC is too old, please select the appropriate sample rate and bit width. Improper settings will cause this sound card to work improperly.

Fault resolution

Can’t the sound card work normally when connected to the phone and powered by the phone? It is possible that the power supply of the phone cannot make the sound card work normally. Please use an external power supply to power the sound card, or replace the phone for use.

  • The sound card works normally, bu1 the signal is not recorded to the connected device phone or computer?
Please check whether the signal change-over switch at the back of the machine is pulled to the correct position. The signal is output from that connection port. The switch must be turned lo the corresponding output port.

  • No sound
Confirm whether the correct USB cable is used. Be sure to use the included USB cable.

  • Is the volume control of this device set to the correct level?
Confirm the [OUTPUTJ knob and [PHONES! knob.

  • Are the microphone and monitor speakers properly connected to the device?
Please refer to the ·Manual to confirm the correctness of the connection.

  • Is the power switch of the monitor speaker turned on?
Make sure the switch of the monitor speakers is turned on.Abnormal sound (noise, interruption or distortion)

  • Does the computer meet the system requirements?|
Confirm system requirements. The PC operating system is too old, reconfigure the PC operating system.
Check whether the recording level is overloaded, it is recommended to set the recording level at OdB (0dB= IV).

  • Are you recording or playing long continuous audio?
The computer’s audio data processing capability depends on many factors, including CPU speed and access to external devices, reducing the audio track and then checking the sound again.
Is the microphone properly connected to the device?
Connect the microphone to the device with an XLR type plug.

If you use a phone plug, the volume may be insulficient. (TRS is only used for LINE input)
