STEP 1 Measure the width
STEP 2 Find your size
According to the opening size you measured, select the extension you need.
NOTE: The larger the number of extensions and the wider the expansion, the overall stability strength of the guardrail will be reduced, for your maximum safety, it is recommended to use the hardware installation.
STEP 2 Install accessories C and I
Complete the installation
- First pull out the two bolts at the bottom of the gate at equal distance and rotate the nut. The direction of the left and right screws rotate inconsistently.Pay attention to the signs on the guard bar.
- Pay attention to adjusting the left and right clearance to ensure that the left and right clearance is consistent.
- The gate is over-tightened or not tight enough.Suitable clearance of the door gap is 1/16″.
In order to tighten the bolts, use a small wrench F until the clearance of the door lock fits only one wrench. The distance between the side of the wrench indicates that the installation is completed (positioning column).
OPERATION
Cut off the belt and test the door gate.
When opening the door, it is necessary to pull back the switch above and lift up the guardrail at the same time.
Automatic door closing, there will be a click.
INSTALLATION METHOD B
NOTE: Refer to this step if stair mount or hole mount is required, otherwise please skip to Installation Method A
Place the position plates on where you want to install the gate.(This is where
you will attach the wall cups.)
Make sure the plates are centered within your doorway/opening and MARK the
position on the wall.
Use the wall anchors and the screws to attach the wall cups to the wall, based on your markings.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the gate does not open or interact properly:
A. The gate is over-tightened or not tight enough.
Suitable clearance of the door gap is 1 /16″.(Please refer to step 4)
B. The latches are not level.
Solution: Adjust the tension bolts on each side of the door until it is
centered and leveled, with equal distance between the gate and wall on both
side, top and bottom.
C. Gate is not properly aligned onto the door frame.
Solution: Adjust the gate by loosening all tension bolts and repositioning the
gate. Make sure the gate is properly aligned onto the door frame/door opening,
then re-tighten tension bolts.
If you happen to cut the belt by accident or need to reinstall the gate
elsewhere in the future:
Solution: Use another rope/belt to tie the guardrail before removing,
otherwise you may need the assistance of others to help you with installation
it.
If you need to place it in a doorway that has baseboard:
Solution:lt will fit securely. Each of the four corners has an adjustable mount
that can be tightened to varying distances.
Important Advice: Measure the width and ensure that both the top and bottom
measurements are considered.
If the gate becomes loose on the wall:
Solution: Check if the bolts are properly tightened.(Please refer to step
4)
